  1. @Casiusco Not only did he have to fight to have the movie released in theaters he had to also fight to make sure the studio didn’t cut short it’s theatrical run. These dummies only wanted the movie to be exclusive to theater chains for like a month, & then be available on streaming smfh. You can’t make up how out of touch some of those people are. Glad he was able to win in the end, because Top Gun: Maverick is damn entertaining. It’s my number one movie of the year!
  2. Good Morning Psychos! Many beautiful things are waiting to welcome you to this new day. Happy Thursday
  3. @Casiusco If the plan is to get psychos to come to a specific area she makes for beautiful bait
  4. @Squeegie McGee Given the history of this thread this title could have also been appropriate, but seeing how the phrase is connected to Someone probably wouldn’t have understood the nuance, & thought the title inappropriate 😂.
  5. A conversation about how work isn’t our most pleasant parts of our day. A sad topic, but one that fortunately, unfortunately bonds us all together. Living through experiences of lazy co-workers, bosses who make bad decisions, being a fly on the wall as we watch companies die off do to higher ups inability to adapt & change. Which if I’m not mistaken is a skill that bosses are supposed to have. It’s concerning to read different accounts from different parts of the world deal with similar situations. I sometimes feel like everyone with the logical answers are never the ones at the top of their field of work. Fascinating…..
  6. In my head I don’t remember the beginning, it just feels like there was never I time I wasn’t consuming films. So I don’t exactly remember my first moment, but I can share one of my oldest moments that fit’s the topic. The part that hit me was at about the 3:30 mark, in the theaters with my Uncle & the combination of the score. I was to hyped in my seat 😂. As a kid I always acted out the movies I watched, but this scene in particular I acted out around the house just in general. Especially when my parents bought me this cool Batman costume with a cape that was so long it dragged across the floor.
  7. Typical Veum Of course he doesn’t. He doesn’t have a single hip bone in his body 😂.
  8. Oh 💩 you told him. I thought we was going to keep this a going.
  9. That’s why it’s important to either completely avoid social media or at the very least manage your time on there very wisely. Consuming that much negativity isn’t healthy for anyones mental long term.
  10. We are all on here talking about the complexities of humanity & cinema, & in classic Veum like fashion you add randomness to the conversation. 😂
  11. @Rambo I don’t have a Facebook account either. @RAK Yeah the idea behind social media is great, but in practice it can be a real $hitty experience. I signed up for Twitter thinking it was a good idea to keep up with movie updates. I still get updates, but I have to comb through so much other unwarranted messages about all kinds of stuff. I don’t even travel on there as much as I did, & I’m planning to just delete the account all together.
  12. Two questions. 1. Why do you have a naked picture of @Basil? 2. Does he know you have this picture? 3. Yes I have a third question. Did he give you permission to post this naked picture of him?
  13. I’m down for the discussion. The phase “that movie could not have been made today" is spoken a lot these days, but from my observations this phrase much like other phrases in pop culture is an over exaggeration of reality. My perspective is humans are the worst thing to happen to the Planet Earth. Your post is describing how humans have always been. There hasn’t been a time in human history where decency was in the 80% or 90%. The 90s & early 2000s I could go without ever knowing other peoples opinions on situations. Now even when I’m not looking for peoples opinions on things I’m able to run across them. The age of information allows us to see much more than any other group of people from the past. Past generations wasn’t better, they just was able to live in delusion, at least a large enough number of them.
  14. @Casiusco I nominate @Fortis93, because he is a man in the future. He will already know the days when @Basil won’t be in here early so he can fill those shoes. For a matter of fact he has already read my message & responded. He is just that far ahead of us. Me & Scarlett are doing well actually. We have slowed down our Public displays of love for one another, because of you know who 🙄 getting in their feelings about it. Probably because a lot of those movies have been 💩, & don’t deserve the collectors edition treatment. No I didn’t think of him, because I saw the unreleased behind the scenes footage that revealed who was really playing the character. @extantsrevenge!!! Or is Robert Downey Jr. really Nils pretending to be a squirrel?
  15. There’s still about 15 more movies we need WeET to produce premiums for
  16. I recognize the inside art. It's the scene right before they question the kids. They where about to walk up to a house & it explodes unexpectedly. Could have made for some cool inside art if the picture wasn't covered with red tint 🙄. This whole steelbook is
  17. I can’t help you this time because posts like this one above keep me feeling I don’t feel my AC either under these conditions 😂
