Hi @Mdk14092, welcome to your MP "nightmare", hold tight onto your wallet💲 ... just kiddin', I glad you found your way here on the MP forum! 🎬 You will not find any better peeps then on here, and make sure you join a GB (GroupBuy) that you absolutely know you want that edition, because (with a few exceptions) you are not allowed to back out once joined. Do not be afraid to tag our leaders below and if I can help you in any way just tag me @Veum! I found out, if you decide to join several GBs, make a spread-sheet to note all the GBs you join (it has saved me tremendously). There are still some Gold (my preference) Premium Membership - MP Tiered Memberships still available and a few Silver available in the MP Store ... as of this writing, it can change at any moment though, so jump on one if that is what you want. You do not have to buy a Membership to participate in GBs, however IMHO, I would, to get some of the benefits from that tier.

Fri. 8/9 The series is set in early 19th-century Spanish California. When the commandant of Los Angeles, AlcaldeLuis Ramone, terrorizes the people of the pueblo and oppresses them, Don Alejandro de la Vega summons home from Spain his son Diego to fight the alcalde and his men. When Diego arrives, he finds his town in a sorry state, and while pretending to have little interest in anything but books and his experiments, he creates the secret identity of El Zorro: The Fox. He and his mute servant, the teenage Felipe, battle the alcalde's tyranny. S1 Disc 1 Ep 1 - Dead Men Tell No Tales - Don Diego de la Vega shows his trusted houseboy Felipe how astronomy studies the moon, and dreams about mankind going there one day, when his telescope shows a horseman approaching the pueblo hastily. It's a certain Señor Morales, who most unkindly asks a room in her inn and commandeers señorita Victoria Escalante to wake him at dawn; when she does, she is found standing over his body, which has a bloody stab-wound, and is arrested and quickly condemned to death by Alcalde Luis Ramone. Diego investigates, and discovers the alcalde actually used his friend, Mexico City's actor Ricardo Cortes, to play dead in order to set a trap for Zorro. But The Fox is hard to bait and even harder to catch in a trap...

Fri. 8/9 The Lone Ranger is an American western television series starring Clayton Moore but John Hart played the part of the Lone Ranger in the series from 1952 to 1954 and Jay Silverheels as Tonto. This action packed series has 221 episodes and initially featured Gerald Mohr as the episode narrator. Fred Foy served as both narrator and announcer of the radio series from 1948 to its finish and became announcer of the television version when story narration was dropped there. This was by far the highest-rated television program on the ABC network in the early 1950s. When it came time to produce another batch of 52 episodes, there was a creative dispute with Clayton Moore so John Hart was hired to play the role of the Lone Ranger. Once again, the 52 new episodes were aired in sequence followed by 52 weeks rerunning them. Hoping the mask would make the switch between Moore and Hart workable. Hart was never really accepted by the public in the role and those episodes were not seen again until the 1980s. At the end of the fifth year of the television series, Trendle sold the Lone Ranger rights to Jack Wrather, who bought them on August 3, 1954. Wrather immediately rehired Clayton Moore to play the Lone Ranger and another 52 episodes were produced. Once again, they were broadcast as a full year of new episodes followed by a full year of reruns. The Show originally ran from 1949 until 1957. From 49 till 56 the episodes were black and white . in 1956 – 1957 the show aired in color . There were two Movies made for the theaters starring Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels. The Lone Ranger and The Lone Ranger and the lost city of Gold. S1 Disc 1 Ep 1 - Enter the Lone Ranger - Butch Cavendish and his band of outlaws are terrorizing the West. A tracker named Collins leads a group of six Texas Rangers, led by Captain Reid, after them. Collins, secretly working for Cavendish, leads the Rangers into an ambush in a narrow pass known as Bryant's Gap. Cavendish then goes about his business, believing all six Rangers dead. Later that evening, a native american named Tonto comes upon the scene and finds one Ranger still barely alive. He discovers this Ranger is the same man who helped Tonto when his village was destroyed when they were both boys. Tonto tends to the Ranger's wounds and makes six graves so the outlaws will believe all the Rangers are dead. When the Ranger, the younger brother of Captain Reid, regains his strength, he decides to disguise himself with a mask and become the Lone ranger.

Thurs. 8/8 The story is about an iconic historical figure, Daniel Boone (Fess Parker)and his adventures in and around Boonesborough, Kentucky a settlement which Boone was establishing. The time is pre-revolutionary and most of characters are fictional except Boone himself. Boone’s best friend is a Native American named Mingo (Ed Ames), he also has a wife Rebecca (Patricia Blair) and a son Israel (Darby Hinton). The family wasn’t the center of the show but they did show up in quite a few episodes. He also had a daughter Jemima (Veronica Cartwright) but she mysteriously disappeared during the second season. Mingo was half-Cherokee, educated at Oxford University and spoke perfect English. This was a first step and helped to set the tone for the portrayal of Native Americans in the media. The shows drama came from skirmishes with less friendly indians and the occasional scoundrel or outlaw. Boone’s inherent common sense and strong moral compass usually saved the day and set the show up as a family favorite. S1 disc 1 Episode 1 Ken - Tuck- E - George Washington sends Daniel and Yadkin into "Ken-Tuck-E," the "dark and bloody" hunting ground of four Indian nations, to find a site for a fort. Once they arrive, they encounter representatives of two of those four nations -- Shawnee warriors chasing a lone Cherokee warrior. Daniel helps drive the Shawnee away, and the grateful Cherokee, Mingo, returns the favor by showing Daniel and Yad an ideal location to build their fort. Yad returns east while Daniel remains with Mingo to explore the country.
