So here we go: "challenge #11"
1. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom
- This sequel has an amazing taste of humour and one of the best "car-chase-scene" in a mine!!!
2. Police Story II
- This sequel put action to a new level, the stunts are - till today - absolutely amazing and unbelievable.
The showdown is looking for a match and the explosion at the end - totally crazy, because it was all real!
3. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
- Best IMAX scenes implemented in a movie at that point.
Great fight with the biggest Transformer!
4. Star Trek: Into Darkness
- As the remake finally managed to interest me, as a big Star Wars fan, in Star Trek, this sequel caused some goosebumps, when Khan talks about revenge.
So this kind of acting was new for me in a Star Trek movie!
Always thought, that the acting in the old movies is a little bit too much and kind of "cheesy".
5. Crank II: High Voltage
- Is there more to say, what "High Voltage" doesn't imply?
This movie is f*cking hilarious and totally entertaining and craaaaaaaaazy!
I thought about a lots of movies, who deserves a sequel and ended up with 4, but if I've just choose one, it will be Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters!
1. Ghost in the Shell
- Amazing look, character, actress and fantastic story.
One of my favourite Manga stories got real. And they totally nailed it!
2. Valerian
- Luc Besson at its best!
Humour, Action, and crazy look!
"French" Sci-Fi entertainment!
3. Terminator: Salvation
- I loved the way, they developed and renewed the story and totally liked the characters.
Don't get me wrong, I like part 2 as well, but Arnie is such an baaaaaad actor and always a bit funny (not on purpose!).
Would have loved to see way more of Bale and Worthington and how the story goes on.
Finally a Terminator Movie with some people, who can act and make some noise at the same time!
4. (AND THE ONE, I'VE CHOOSE TO BE THE ONE!) Hansel& Gretel: Wich Hunters
- Stunning idea to put these old fairy tales on the screen!
Hell, what an amazing ride, wich left a lots of opportunities to tell more...
