Guys i just got my copy of this and i must say it looks awesome , all 3 !  However my personal preference is the one i took a few pictures of and would like to share it with you guys.

Please excuse me but im not nowhere near a professional so my pictures will not be perfect.  I actually dont do many due to this deficit that I have but felt I had to share them with you.

yes for insulting someone your message(s) would be under moderation.

For expressing frustration in a respectful and calm manner there is no need for moderation.

We want to try our best to keep it positive although i fully understand the situation might not make that an easy task. 

We too are waiting on different titles from the Retailer.  We have heard everything that you could imagine .  Throwing around rude comments does not help the situation though.

I have tried gently wiping them off, but they don't dissapear. It must have been during the manufacturing process. And that a damp cloth fails to erase anything, as if they were fixed, makes me think that it may not be possible to remove them. 

 

Still, if anyone has any good idea, I would be very grateful.

WOW ! guys let me tell you this one has been a real challenge .  

This project was started in the pandemic timeframe and EVERYTHING got out of hand .

I know ALOT of you kept asking about updates and even thinking (gossiping) that this would never come to fruition.  Shame on YOU !  😃 @hal56 😃 just to name one LOL ( hope you take it as a joke, no ill intent)

I too honestly had been losing hope for this and then FINALLY the call came in.  The printing company has finished the product and will be sealing them when time permits.

The printing company had a lot of personal issues due to the Covid situation and was not able to run his business for quite some time.  Now he is able to continue where he stopped. GREAT NEWS indeed !

Since this was more of a personal matter we did not find the need to make any updates on this subject as we ourselves were not sure which direction this would go. 

The great part about this is no one lost anything on this project ,  if money was exchanged between MP and the members rest assured we would have felt more obligated to inform you of the reasons for the holdup even if they were of a more personal nature. 

Im sure you can understand and appreciate the care we take with things that are of private nature.  Just because nothing is updated to your sense of need , does not mean nothing is being done in the background. 

In the upcoming days / weeks we will be reopening our GB for this item.

Hey guys, wow this discussion about the Art has gotten heated, and im very sorry it might have gotten out of hand but compassion is running through everyones veins , dont you think?

As a collector myself i personally do NOT like this kind of artwork all the time , that does not mean though that the artist should be totally taken out of the picture.  His vision is quiet different then what the mainstream collectors are used to. Different is SOMETIMES good !

While reading through several points, I do think that some criticism was harsh and in the translation to Chinese it seems to be even harsher .  

I feel that CE should , and i am sure they will, take the time to let all this information sink in .  I believe the real problem is that BR is such a cult , and many many opinons can be made about what should be .  Take the criticism to heart , show the members that they are being heard .  I too think the that listening to those that support CE IS more important then those who join the effort just to be malicious.  However you must though also be able to differentiate the difference between constructive critisim and malice attacks.  Accepting others pov on certain things is great for all involved, those that support CE already and those that WANT to support CE in the future.

For that member who pointed out the issue of the postcard, @ethnosax before posting something like that in an open forum , i would have appreciated the heads up through a personal PM so that the staff would have time to further investigate the claim and to resolve it .  Sometimes things like this can be very negative and might not be deserving .  Rest assured if we are aware of the situation we will handle it .  Nevertheless thank you for letting us know.  Please give my best regards to the Artist and if he has any further questions he can contact me himself.

One last thing .... members please try to remember this is a growing retailer who is of different heritage then the most of us here.  What you say could really be taken offensive and we do not want that at all.  Does not mean you should smile and bow to all things said, showed or done, but just be a little more selective in your choice of words moving forward.

I DO NOT LIKE THE ARTWORK THAT FULLSLIP B but i will still support CE on this Edition.  Each to his own.

I believe you speak the truth.  If you are looking at getting a quality item for that amount you paid for the steels $25 then the line is DEFINITELY not for you , its not suppose to be for EVERYONE , i believe that is the purpose of holding the count down for production.   

The production should not be raised too much over the original number .  If CE was to do that they would be like Zavvi and Co.  They just reorder batches when they want to , to satisfy the demand but that makes the item for most of the collectors uninteresting .  

Im sorry you like the item but it does not fit into your budget.  Maybe you can try to get you someone to print a "normal" slipcover for your steelbook, i believe they go for around $20ish ??? IMHO. 

Otherwise i dont know what else to tell ya.

Again i think it is your responsibility to ensure you follow the right thing for information. 

True i want the money but YOU (member) found the GB to participate in without too much problem , why not do your obligation and follow .

Its all in the Email/ Notification everyone gets when joining the GB (it is now for sure) so not really any excuses for not doing what you are instructed to do in that message. 

I will do just one thing and stick to it , its going to be without the extra work. How do you know what works or not ? You dont see nor know what i do so i think the Staff is the only one who can say what works or not.   If you relied on an extra cushion from us to get informed then so be it , but no where did i say that was part of the process.  Everytime you joined a GB it tells you what to do ...people not wanting to read nowadays is the REAL problem.  the reason i stopped sending out PMs is because why should i continue to do something over a longer timeframe when not really too many took notice ?

ITs simple really , just do as described in the email/message confirmation when you join a GB.

Surely people are that "clever" ?

Im sure you are right in that fact.  That is something though we cannot change although we have tried in the past.  

People will go where they want to go for conversation , information, and gossip.

However true that may be , it cannot be our problem anymore .  We can only give simple instructions as to what and how but if they dont do it , then they dont.

It IS alot of work , just look at other  hosts who are "breaking" under the workload , especially if they have a day job as well to go after, so i dont find it too much to ask that those who do participate do everything they can to stay informed, without me or other Staff having to do 10 extra things .
