I remember in the 90s how it wasn't uncommon to have those TV movie miniseries that would sometimes come on Sunday nights and would run for a few weeks. If it was a two part movie part one would come on Sunday night followed by part two airing Monday night. Well the Tommyknockers came to mind and I couldn't help but revisit it again after so many years seeing how the last time I remember watching it I wasn't even in double digits yet.

It's amc for our area. Last week they showed an anime spy family which he wasn't fond of naturally being a much older guy but the week before they showed The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare which he and his wife enjoyed. He said she liked it even more than he did. I said I guess so that film had its fair share of square jawed handsome gents. -

A local theater in the area is playing the 45th anniversary of Aliens with tickets being $5 per person. One of my coworkers mentioned it before our meeting saying he's never seen it so he will be attending with his wife in tow. Pretty much had the water shocked out of me when he told me this. I asked wait you've never seen Aliens once not even maybe a portion of the film. He said nope that was the year he graduated high school so he didn't have a chance to watch it when it came out. I'm glad he was genuinely excited to go see it. I advised him he was in for a treat. -

RIP Bill Paxton I credit this film for getting me interested in storm chasing and extreme weather patterns so definitely a favorite of mine. Also one of the reasons I ended up buying an old square body suburban.- 1 reply

good afternoon my dudes. went from 57 with a cool breeze hoodie weather to air fried chicken legs turn over at the halfway mark for a crisp exterior on both sides. pretty much high 80s all week. I'm not complaining though it's been a rough winter of salted roads and gloomy overcast. -
Ok Disney.....I haven't cared much for many of the recent offerings but to tell the truth and shame the devil you have my attention on this one. I'm a bit of a sucker for the Lion King

Had the biggest crush on Jennifer Connelly since the first moment I laid eyes on her as a kid when I saw her in Rocketeer. At first when I saw this movie as a kid it was weird. Watching it again as a teenager and now an adult I can say I fully appreciate and like it.
