These are all premium editions  At first I found an offer on Amazon marketplace of "The Horse Thief" alone and ordered it, it was supposed to be the premium edition. Then I disocvered an offer with all five movies so decided to buy them. And when "The Horse Thief" arrived it turned out to be the plain edition either way 🙁

Shouldn't this be on the list too?

Indeed, it looks like this title is not an exclusive in the sense that it's available at other retailers as well.

Usually, when a release is an Exclusive, it will say so in the title, along with its series number.

I learned about Diskino and WCL only a few weeks ago, but when I saw The Horse Thief and other Chinese movies in their catalogue, well, I knew I had to somehow get them 😁 Obviously it's way past their premiere date and the GBs here, but sometimes if I want something, I can be persistent, no matter the cost lol. So here my copies, The Horse Thief along with four other WCL classic Chinese titles 😍 The sad part is they cost me over $800 including shipping 😢

Sorry for asking a probably naive question, but since I'm still new to the premium Asian editions market, I just want to get a few things clear. I went to Kimchi site and immediately spotted a movie bearing the Novamedia logo which is not on either of the two lists of their catalogue there - New Dragon Gate Inn:

As I understand, both Kimchi and Nova are Korean retailers, similar to f. ex. Amazon, but they also have their own labels and publish movies in either exclusive or plain, mass-market editions? So for Nova, the limited premium lines are Choices and Exclusives, listed here on MP, but they also have regular easily-available editions? And this edition of NDGI would be of that sort? 😊

@Grendel & @R1s1ngs0n thank you so much guys for clearing it up! I'm not really a steelbook collector so not that familiar with the terminology 😅 But I do have this Wailing lenticular edition on my "must buy" list since I discovered it existence a few of weeks ago. The movie is excellent.

One copy surfaced today on eBay, already gone. Couldn't afford to buy it atm lol... Out of curiosity: is Injoingan a Korean retailer, and WEA a publishing label? Do they put out a lot of recent Korean titles?

Do I understand correctly, that this is a release which Diskino has announced as planned, but there is not release date, etc. yet?

Understood. All GBs are a leap of faith in one way or another. For me, having all the past UHD Club releases and loving them I know they will do a good job with this one. 

What were the previous releases? Is there a list somewhere?

Zhuangzhuang Tian signing copies of the movie... Does anyone know if these were available in some way, or was he just signing a few copies for the guys from the label?
