I ordered this set and their 4k Steelbook, due to the scalpers selling out the Walmart Steelbook. @Gary K @deckard99 have you ordered from FNAC in the past and how is their shipping protection/speed?

And it's already sold out, most likely due to the scalper twats. How else can the second biggest retailer in the world already be sold out.

I understand that. I just hope that's really what most of these decisions have come down to, Manta refusing to not compromise their vision. I do wish John from Manta would give more updates on the status of some of the older announced sets. It seems like there have been less and less updates from him since Collectong came in. But at least they are not trying to Blind Box anybody into purchasing anything...whoops errrrr I mean what a brilliant idea from Blufans.... Company line, company line.

I know Manta Lab probably had this planned for awhile, but if they can rush this out so soon after it bombed, or get Barbie out so quickly, then why can't we get Oppenheimer or maybe, hear me out here, Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse, Pulp Fiction/Reservoir Dogs. Instead it's been Barbie, Blue Beetle, Far From Home, Godzilla, and Aquaman and the Lost Profits. Meh choices in my opinion.

I wish I could defend ol America, but, quite frankly, we are the world's biggest producers of arrogance, unintelligence, political correctness, and arguing about everything but never coming up with a solution because we are too wrapped up in our own little political ideas to acknowledge any other view points. In other words, we are on a swift downward decline.

If my math is correct: I have the 10 I previously submitted, 7 Wooden boxes, and the Jurassic Park Ultimate Edition. I'm not sure how many JP counts as, but if it's 1 then I would not reach the presumptive next award goal of (25) until I receive Unforgiven, The Hobbit trilogy and the Godfather trilogy! 😂 I'm wondering if you might want to open up the next stage now anyway for those few who might have enough ? At this rate the first stage will reach 50 submissions around the same time as Cine-Museum will release their Back to the Future set. I'm sure you would agree that 2026 is a long ways away!

John Wick Chapter 4 4k from Novamedia. Thanks to @Masterblasterand crew for the group buy and safe/fast shipping of this beautiful release!! Another one where the pictures do not do it justice. Crisp and clean Lenti with a nice transition. And look at that, BLUFANS pay attention, a Lenti with an extra layer of plastic on it to prevent scratches and dirt! Quality control, what a concept. Good Steelbook that matches 1-3. And the special gift with the cards are great as well. Now, I can only hope that Nova makes a special box to fit all four. #Teamopenitup

I got a surprise in the mail today as I had no shipping alert, I still thought it was in customs lol Anyway, here is Spider-Man No Way Home from Manta Lab. Thanks to @Masterblaster and crew for the group buy for this beautiful release! I pre-ordered this the same day as Spider-Man Homecoming from WeET. I remarked, after seeing the beauty shots of Homecoming that I almost regretted ordering this and not waiting for the WeET version of this movie. I am here to tell you that I was completely wrong. This is the best release from Manta that I own from this year, beating out Inception and 2001. The beauty shots don't do it justice, and even my pictures don't quite convey the quality of this set. The full slip is suberb, the single lenticular has depth, clarity, and great transition. The double lenticular is awesome, and my pictures don't convey how great this is. The depth effect on this one is probably the best I've ever seen on a lenti and makes you feel like the shards of glass are truly there in front of you. The extras are good, The one click box, while plain looking in the beauty shots, is actually very nice. And unlike my last 4 one-clicks from Blufans, I had zero swirls/scratches /dirt on my lentis or box. Good quality control as usual. Manta is number one in this premium game. The only ones who are close are WeET and UHD Club. #Teamopenitup

Lord of the Rings motherbox by HDZeta. Thanks to @Masterblaster and crew for this beautiful motherbox. I mentioned a few days ago that I wouldn't be surprised if HDZeta didn't release anything in the next 6 months or maybe even this year, and then the next day they had the Group Buy for Barbie lol Better than nothing I guess. Anyway, this box is very sturdy, well designed, and looks phenomenal. Much better quality than I expected. The glue is not coming off the back like everyone else. My glue is coming off from underneath the black foam slots that house the movie. One side stays down, the other side comes up. The foam slots are very snug when putting the one clicks in, to the point where I struggled to take the one-clicks out, even with two hands.

Deadpool 3 Marvel is taking most of 2024 off, with the exception of this bad boy, due to oversaturation, lower quality releases, and dwindling box office numbers. This movie better stick the landing or Marvel's comeback may not happen.
