great rigid case with steel full glossy , card, booklet .... 

now gentleman, you need to hope that you'll receive your deluxe in perfect condition, as it's sold out.  

arrived this morning from US : 

Hugo (4K edition) from Arrow (contains a booklet & double sided poster), and a korean movie from Well Go USA. Slip & Amaray for both movies.

I decided on the yellow box direct from Arrow (hasn’t arrived yet, but it will be any day now I’m sure). The clincher for me was the more authentic look of the art they used for each movie with Chinese.characters (alphabet) on each.
 

I didn’t think the sketches with the white background on 5 of the films was that great, whereas the artwork for each individual one in the yellow box to me looks better. Nonetheless, I’m giving some thought to getting the retail box from Amazon or a quick order from Arrow.

 

for visuals, it's just about point of view or taste ... and as I said in my description when I received it , inside of each digi you got an official asian poster as visual, so you got chinese alphabet also. it was a nice surprise, so no need to get also chinese alphabet on front IMO. 

As I have many artbooks for movies ... I love sketches .... and prefer sketches as the other choice we had for Bruce Lee box, and I'm happy the content is the same.

Can't afford to buy both box .... Got many premium / editions to pay  

Now fingers crossed, just hope Amazon UK will ship my preorder for "Enter The Dragon Collector Edition UK" ,

because we only got an old edition from the movie in the box, it's the 40th anniversary edition disc.

Rigid Case with amaray & cards + booklet ... everything is mat, no gloss on case or booklet. Hope there is a new master for Frontier(s), the french bluray had a very bad master video.

if you're not afraid with shipment & packaging from Arrow ... when I'm looking at both box ... it's clearly 2 different kind of visuals,

for the yellow box, you got a picture of Bruce Lee face, and as for the second box, you got soft visuals like sketches, And I really prefer this kind of design for visuals.

And by the way, the 2D edition is now sold out on Arrow, but still available on Amazon UK .... so I'd recommend to wait not much to avoid any sold out box.

I guess people waited for those videos to make their choice ! As you're living in US ... it may be easier to deal with Amazon Customer Service in case of damage or everthing else.

If you want my opinion, I'd say, I really prefer the visual for Yellow Box, because you can see all different movies on the box,

but I really prefer the visuals for digi slim from the red box ... I really like the sketches for main movies / disc digi (Big boss, Fist of Fury, Way of the Dragon & Game of Death), and the others visuals are very subtle ... the design blends into the white background.

here it is ... the great box from Arrow Films, for all Bruce Lee movies. I took the 2D version, all have been restored in 2K.  

The rigid box contains a rigid book very interesting with pictures in b&w and colors, but also text. Also a folder with 24 cards + double face poster + few more photos. 😍

Each movie (and disc) is in a slim digi, with a visual on front, and the asian poster insidde from the movie, on the back we got all the specs & infos. 

This box is a must one for all fans ... you may find it in 4K and also with another visual (yellow box) only sold on Arrow Store with different visuals for each movie.

Why would it be more difficult to get WeET items in a group buy? Popularity? HDZeta may have been easier in the past, but other than the Lord of the Rings trilogy, what have they released in the last 1-2 years? 

print run is always lower for WeeT editions and as they have great finish and lots of demand ... it's more difficult for a simple member to get something compared to a Hdzeta Gold title.

MP got so many copies with all GB Hdzeta Gold, I never had trouble to get an edition Hdzeta Gold on MP. But regards Silver Label, it's almost impossible to get it if you're not a Tier Member.

It's always a question of print run, popularity and quality ... , the quality & finish for Weet Exclusive is better than Hdzeta , IMO.

I think Manta Lab, and WeET are now the top two premium makers, so I would say very well. Manta has pulled ahead of HDZeta with regards to quality IMO. 

sure you're right but it's way more difficult for members to get edition for GB WeeT , compared to Hdzeta which is easy to get for non tier members

The steelbook is a beauty, full glossy with some metallic effect, an intern artwork. But I thought the back for pet slip was transparent, too bad, we got all infos instead of a J-Card.

@hal56 your last receptions mediabooks look very good on front .... is there a visual on back please, meaning you got a flyer ? 

very nice spot gloss for "Dream Home" . Love "Project Wolf Hunting", and still never saw "Always", shame on me

are you really sure because you can show it on bluray.com 

and there is a link to Amazon US for a release in August 

and it's indicated "Vinegar Syndrome" and the thumbnail on bluray.com is the same, and as for content it said "slipbox, booklet ..." 

So don't know what to think ???!!!

Showgirls will be back available on vinegar syndrome on July 1.  June is partner label month so they take originals down. 

I'd prefer Amazon US to avoid package blocked by customs  ...

@Zinco97 very nice edition for Showgirls ... I saw there will be a new one coming in August from Vinegar Syndrome with 4K, booklet Amazon.

so do you have a previous edition please ? I checked on Vinegar Syndrome store, and did not find anything.

@hal56 did not know there was a steelbook for "Code 8" ... really like visuals, and the movie is pretty good ! I'll check in July if it's still available

That’s going to be a major issue with all of these UHD wooden boxes coming out for collectors…

 that exactly what I meant,

For me UHD Club is not a typical normal editor, some of their editions are like a jewel, so UHD should think of a protector & display.

I've seen 2 different wood box types. The box design with hinges (Blade Runner, Wonder Woman) and a slightly smaller box with one spine open to slide the contents in and out (Kung Fu Hustle)

 

Each copy is mailed with a protector made of cardboard and foam padding 😛

But as protectors, I thought about those protectors for One-Click MLAB or MPC for OC .... I guess it would not be enough rigid to protect the edition.

I saw on video that some Color Wooden Case editions came with a nice black / grey cardboard ... don't know if those protectors are specific for those ones.

It would be great to receive each time a nice protector cardboard with UHD CLUB logo, no matter the kind of editions ... UC, DP ... 

It really shows we have a great collector edition, I think it's also important as the edition itself.
