Also arrived today: House 1-4 in leather slipcase (embossed) with 4 Mediabooks. The 5th is a 140 pages book.

 

I don't know those horror movies, but the embossed slipcase with leather & wood is really awesome , packaging absolutely amazing 😍 

Don't know the price, but for people who like this saga, this kind of edition is a must-have ,  when I take a look at the leather slipcase ! Great reception

Arrived yesterday: my Manta DL... very nice depth effect...

too bad I hated the movie (Shazam 2), because this DL looks amazing with all the depth , and the visuals are well chosen.

I'm pretty sure the DL MLAB "No Way Home" will be awesome with the depth ... and your edition, the visuals for Spidey are really great. 

It's fun, the back visual is the same that the edition which was sent to some VIP or Tier Member on this forum, if you remember what I'm talking about.

I like the Shawshank set.  I have their Goodfellas and Scarface Film Vault releases, and have pre-ordered 2001 and Apollo 13, both coming in October.  I pick up any and every 2001 set that I can get my hands on, so I’m really excited for that one.  How’s the picture on the Shawshank 4K, is it a solid upgrade?

To be honest, I'm not equiped with a 4K player .... I will buy one soon, but I won't have a 4K TV ... I think with my Plasma Panasonic + 4K player, maybe I'll get a better image, not a 4K image but a bit upsalling ... I don't know actually.

The one for Scarface is so good, love this movie. I did not preorder or bought those for 2001 & Apollo 13, I have so much edition for 2001. and not like very much the visual for Apollo 13.

I'm waiting to receive the one for "Jaws" in France ... they made a collection just for France with translate titles. Too bad it was sold out, otherwise I would have bought the UK edition.

I don't like when they translate the title movies. And I don't buy all those edition because it take many space, not easy to put on shelves as the height is higher than a basic premium.

Like you, I have some books from Ian Nathan in the same collection, I bought the one about "Chris Nolan" 

Don't know if you got it but I really recommend that you get "Terminator Vault" & "Alien Vault" artbook .... each one comes with a slipcase with goodies, there are so great, but now it's a bit hard to find.

And for info, a book by Ian Nathan, dedicate to "David Lynch" will be release early October 2023, if you're interested  

Injoingan has many titles on sell on Kimchidvd & Novamedia .... so I don't understand why this edition is not on preorder on those korean retailer ???!!!

it's a great publisher, they made very good edition in the past ... as CJ Entertainment which is another great publisher in Korea.

Careful .... the colorimetry background is a bit too much blue with my pictures.

some french Digipack for the movies by Ari Aster :

"Beau is Afraid" got an O'ring glossy slip and mat paper digipack with 2 discs.. "Hereditary" is a slim mat paper digipack with only 4K. 

Don't know how they made it, but there is some bonus on the 4K disc, with 2 HD tracks.

Another horror movie I really like ! So I got an MB for Martyr, High Tension, Eden Lake !

Two movies are missing for my top 5 horror movie ...

- "The Descent" but there is many edition, don't know which are the best for content & quality.

- And the last is "The Hill have Eyes" from Alex Aja, not an easy choice for the MB, I'd like the uncut edition.

and last edition, from Arrow, the first release 2D for Waterworld with the 3 cuts.

@hal56 with your last receptions, you got many titles & editions I don't know, and I really like the slipcovers ... "The Harbinger" is good movie, love it, I may be interested in this one, as well as the one for "Showgirls" which is so cool with visuals. 

By the way, thanks for your answer regards LOTR ... it seems we noticed the same issue,

I'm feeling reassured for the engraved issue. but don't know why it's less pronounced for the first & second box.

@hal56 your editions A24 look very nice ... packaging seems different as usual ...  is it a box or kinda book / digipack ? 

And about your trilogy LOTR ... did you notice please what I have point out as you received the last movie / box ?

This morning, huge package arrived .... I wish to thank all staff from MP for making all those GB, and my french Hub @Benoit46 for all his work.

So I got the 3 box LOTR .... and MLAB Inceptions Editions. It's a good day to finish the week 😃

Just too bad that's the thing engraved is not equal for each box, The blue & red box, nothing to say, but for the red box, it's barely visible.

Not a big issue, just a fact. We already discussed about this, and in hand it's really the same feeling.

As for MLAB ... always great work ... good depth for lenti , and nice effects for the fullslip 😍

I love this movie ... this one is a must , magnificent performance from Gena Rowlands.

Too bad we only got amaray edition ... same as for Criterion US editions ... because at a time, Criterion titles were in digipack editions instead of amaray. 

I saw you got "After Hours" and it's also an amaray.

The UK brand for Criterion had more digipack than US Criterion ... in 2020 and 2021 there still was digipack Criterion, but since I did not find some of them ... I may be wrong.
