So I saw that this topic was just posted 10 hours ago by @extantsrevenge, but later read only members who register by February 20 are eligible for prizes. Surely that's a typo, right?

Also, at what point do I first need to contact my Game Master? I just posted my first Bingo board for the first game. Do I choose a GM and contact now?

Despite the result, it was a great game this year. Congrats Chiefs and associated fans. Niners still had a great season with their comeback QB, and Purdy has a great future ahead of him. He's got a SB or three in his future.

CHALLENGE 37

Being the Picky Premium Procurer that I am, there weren't many purchases for me in 2023. However, I did have my favorites, which are pretty much in line with others who have posted already. Just means we're all in good company.

My favorite 2023 Premium Releases are:

#3 - The Shawshank Redemption (UHD Club)

#2 - Star Wars Episodes IV, V, VI (Creator Era Fullslips)

#1 - LOTR Trilogy (UHD Club)

I'm not sure if anybody else will pick up The Mandalorian, it being sort of a niche release of a streaming-only series. I love what Disney is doing, though, sort of testing the waters with these streaming series getting a physical release. Hopefully this trend continues.

But if this is licensed out to anybody else, I'm sure it would be another steelbook & disc release. And it won't be anywhere near as cool as what CE does! 😜

Was just thinking the same thing! I've never had one break on me or be that loose straight out of the shrink-wrap. Got to be a factory defect.

I just opened both my copies of S1 & S2!

I'm relieved to report that S1 did not fall apart (yet), although the S1 steel is much looser than S2. It lays almost flat when completely open, compared to a much more rigid spine on S2. Like opening a brand new book for the first time. So that's making me think if I monkey around with S1 too much, it may just crap out on me....

My S1 & S2 steels thankfully arrived unscathed, although I haven't opened them yet. I've seen a ton of posts online saying there may be some factory-defect spine damage where the steels literally fall apart. So I'm a little scared to unwrap them lol.

That being said, this S1 slip looks pretty good thus far! Many thanks to the MP & CE teams for their work on this project.. Will probably definitely be picking this up. Hope we get matching slips for S2 & S3.

But I stand corrected, nevertheless. I suppose it just doesn't bother me that much to notice the difference. 

I'll have to get this one and then hunt down the first three! They all look so good...some of the best editions out there for these films.

I don't understand what the big deal here is with the notifications.

For those of us that care about such things, the notifications are a great way to keep up with the progress of a particular line or title. For those of you that are seemingly bothered only by notifications for CE, it's simple enough to ignore them. Swipe left or right to dismiss them and go about your day. Literally takes a second. I'm sure most people are already doing this many many times a day already.

And correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought we all got notified anyway whenever new BS were posted...? For any title....

And one more thing I just want to say about CE: this is supposed to be a line created "for collectors, by collectors." We were asked what movies we wanted to see slips for that didn't otherwise have them. And we were also given a voice in the creative design process for the slips, although I will say we have gotten away from that one a little bit. But the bottom line is, the CE line is special and unique in those aspects, and so maybe deserves a little extra recognition. CE is supposed to be for us, after all.
