I can and do understand the frustration about the continous delays on Production , Shipping and such.  Once again the world took a spin and threw everything out of balance first and still with the issues from Covid19.  One wave would go through and we would be able to come up for fresh air and then bam , another variant has gotten our attention. 

 

So here is the deal on this , as these were being prepared for shipping there is a Quality control to ensure that most items are without flaw.  This release was not any different , but thankfully the Quality control caught the mistakes / damages made by the production procedure and they were requested to be re-done.  Now that this all happened and were just about finished , we had the issue with the Chinese closing different parts of their Country (Lock down).  As far as i can tell those places are back up and running , however slow (or fast) to resume the normal daily activities.  Shipping should be done asap or is already in transit.

 

Some info to know ,  tracking is not given in china like the western world.  Here you go to the post office , give your package , its scanned  and its sent off that night .  In China thats not quit how it works , some of these Retailers are in rural areas but im sure it works the same in the bigger postal offices (what they call post offices) .  From my understanding a package is picked up by a Logistic partner who then gets it to the post office where it stays (sometime for long days) , its checked by customs and then given a tracking number which is then relayed back to the logistic partner who then gives it to the sender.  So follwing that procedure , to get a tracking number could actually take days before we get it back from the Retailer.  Does not necessarly mean that there is no progress in that time , but the tracking number gets to us late.  That is from my understanding (i cant say 100% for sure though) how the procedure is , so you see that is a very different procedure then what we are used to.

 

I will again ask for tracking but im not sure i will have get it yet.  

 

I guess what i want to say is that you will have to be very patient on these releases coming from China until everything gets back to normal its going to be this way im for a while .

Looks really nice! That is some terrific embossing! I do agree with @Rebel though, the spine could use some work. The blu ray logo is too big and off center, and maybe it’s just me, but the WB logo looks warped/stretched out? Other than that, looks like a really stunning release

I certainly hope so, but shipping is still crazy unpredictable right now. I've seen boxes arrive from China in as little as 30 days. I've also seen some boxes take 6-9 months to arrive. @deckard99 so would we be presumptuous in hoping to receive it in June? This was quite the expensive purchase and it kinda sucks seeing how many members had already got it in hand weeks ago. I just don’t want to end up being out that much money:/
