Being a super Macross newb, what should I watch to get into it, or where should I start? I've always heard the name, but never watched anything Macross related. Thanks in advance! 😃

Thanks for posting that @Billy Talent , I'll probably skim over the tweets and see what others are saying. I did see that Nier diorama when it first announced and it is definitely sweet! Would be a nice piece to have as well, but it was too rich for my blood at the time 😃 @LeGonze I use Amazon.jp personally and a proxy service if needed. They do have some Amazon exclusives and bonuses, but they are hit and miss on their value/ coolness in my opinion. I use to use PlayAsia years ago, but they sent me a crumpled up box set once, they refused to offer any compensation or replace it after 2 months of dealing with their frustrating customer service; thankfully I was able to get my money back through PayPal's buyer protection.

THIS!... It's so hard to resist once you get into collecting statues... I know... I already fell into the trap 😅 That X-23 looks neat and yeah the Spider-Gwen is nice, but see that's the thing-EVERYTHING starts looking good and you wanna get your hands on them all and those pre-orders start stacking up! Over the past 2 years I've had to become very selective, due to space and expenses; but I feel I got the majority of what I want, and even some I may sell, the ones I don't cherish as much. The statue I was referring to is below... I'm very split on getting it, again, due to space and cost... but 😍 💗 (hidden below!) ... and I'd want an alt head piece, with green hair 😏 AND Esper version!...

Congrats! 😄 To be honest, if you are gonna spend that much on a box set, you might as well spend the "little extra" on a statue 😉 😝 That status and the statue that @Billy Talent shared, both look great! But yes, you're gonna have deep pockets and SPACE to take up statues as a hobby... I know... I'm currently eyeing a piece that could possibly cost $3000... 😡

Yes, it's crazy that the One Piece story has continued on for so long, and it stays consistent; you'll find that things that happen in current episodes can be related to something that happened 300 episodes ago (even further!) 😱 The writer has been able to expand upon the story very well and further flesh out the world and characters; I believe that the story is at least 3/4 of the way done by now, lol... 😂

@AndroiDad75 @LeGonze Hey guys! Yeah, One Piece is a very lengthy series, but it is a series that I keep going back to... it has a lot of charm and heart, in my opinion. I initially wrote it off, because the idea of an anime about pirates fighting sounded boring; but a friend of mine challenged me to watch the first 100 episodes... I was hooked after the first 30! The later seasons feel like they drag on and the 1000 episode list looks overwhelming, but what I've done is watch it in chapters/ seasons. After I feel a chapter ends, I take a break and watch some other stuff, and then I go back... it seems far more manageable that way. What ends up happening though, is that I get hooked and eager to watch the "next" episode, so I sometimes end up binge watching some more 😄 I'm currently in the late 800's of episodes, is anyone else watching it besides me? Can you imagine an Ultiate Box Set of Blu-Rays for One Piece?!?! The price would be something nuts! Anyways, I'd say give it a look, it has easily become one of my favorites of all time 😍

@extantsrevenge Heyyyyy, quick question! What is your source for info on anime related slips and special editions that come out? I'm so out of touch with getting my hands on any the editions that you show off, that I'm getting envious 😈 One of my first GB's on MP was the Akira from Ive Entertainment/ Kimchi, but I don't think MP has other postings for anime stuff... hence why we're here in our own quiet corner of this site 😝 Thanks in advance!

In this case I MIGHT actually hold off on watching Part 2, so that I can watch 2 and 3 together. I got more than enough new and old anime to go over in the meantime 😂 It's been wild thus far and I'm currently at the end of The Final Season Part 1. I haven't read the manga, so I have no idea what is to come 😲 My favorite character died as well, so...
