It’s been a while. I was hoping to put pics up of my first OC, capt marvel, so I kept waiting. Usps forwarding office is taking her time (I secured a back up just in case and package was insured so no worries there). My stack of new arrivals is getting large so here is what I got over the past a couple months 😃 The first two are not steelbooks but I love historical fiction shows and years ago found Korean and Chinese historical shows. These are two of my favs and finally got them for physical Collection.

Oops I like to think I only get WEA premium 🤔. I did go for some WeET WWA, Spider-Man FFH and Alita. If they are a fav movie and like you said super nice slips I def fall haha.

I figured out the CD is on a blu-ray disc. Works in my BD player attached to TV but not on the external DVD drive for my computer. WHYYYYYY ? Who puts music on a blu ray disc lol. I was hoping to import the soundtrack to my library (money saved). Oh well. The WEA steel is really why I spent the $$$

I really only get the premium stuff for WEA steelbooks....for now haha. Most of their releases have been WWA so no temptation for me. I really hope going forward with WEA they offer a FS, I'll even take a 1/4 slip. Blufans have had some amazing fullslips that I drool over so that missed opportunity tugs at my FS loving heart 🤣

Did u get the CD to work ? I'm having issues ::sigh:: (nm it is a blu ray disc CD...which means no importing on computer, that is um not that cool)

Arrived today! I’m not a lenti person (this one is super nice!) but that WEA of Frozen 2 finally got me and not a bad price. Plus I’m a soundtrack lover so I really like this idea of WEA (no movie discs) for older releases BUT please please Fanatics include full-slips in future releases and individual options !!! 🙏🏼
 

The MoS discs are a little uninspiring compared to previous releases. I have the others tho so I’m good.

I know this would never happen but imagining an OC set of ASM 1 FS and ASM2 FS, I would be soooo excited. They could do another OC set of the lentis too.

If they get to do the Raimi trilogy I wonder how they would do it. I mean 6 addition OC seems like it would be a massive size to deal with in shipping. 🤔

Signed up for one FS of each. I actually really enjoyed ASM 2 🤷‍♀️ I know my tastes can be unique 😂🤣

I've been sick the past couple days and just woke up to this. I'm so sad : ( I hope he got the time with his family and friends and I just I don't know what to say.

I had drifted away from the MCU for a long while until a friend asked me to go with him to see the premier for Black Panther (there were drummers from his country in this movie and was excited to see it) and Black Panther was what got me interested in the MCU again. He is why I went back and watched all the movies I skipped before Infinity Wars.

I'm sadly not that shocked on the type of cancer. In the past 10 years, they have seen a large uptick of people under 50 getting diagnosed with Colon Cancer. This is why colonoscopy screening recommendations are in flux quite a bit lately, trying to figure out how to catch these cases in younger people in early stages. Had a friend lose her fight to it and my grandmother. So if you have a family history no matter your age, ask your Doctor if you need a colonoscopy (esp if you have even the smallest change in bowel movements)!!! (I actually need to schedule mine at 35 :/)

I’m going to have to follow your path & sit down with these movies again because as of right now it’s Maguire over Garfield all day! Garfield was giving me creepy stalker vibes. He was too awkward, least from what I remember, & the cgi in his movies never sold me. It always felt like I was watching something fake. When that first Tobey movie came out & I saw him web slinging through the city I was blown away. I couldn’t believe they was able to make it look so real. I didn’t get that same vibe from ASM 1 or 2. 

Yeah I def like all the CGI in Raimi's trilogy. I remember loving Spidey 1 as a teenager and I think I didn't really love 2 so I dropped it after that. As an 30+ adult tho I like complexity and enjoyed 2 wayy more. Spidey 1 feels like the actors are sedated (esp Dunst and Maguire), I don't know if the studio wanted to play it safe and that's why it feels stilted compared to 2 and 3. 

Raimi's is def comic book campy and Webb's iteration has a little more realism I think. I like both so far.

Maguire for me is mixed, I think he did much better in 2 and 3 but it still felt like he had resentment rolling off him when things went wrong (like he could go to the dark side any moment) I got an Anakin vibe I guess lol. I have not yet watched ASM 2 tho so we will see.

I had some scratches on the back of my IW steelbook but honestly you had to get some very bright light and tilt back and forth to see it. The A2 FS was just beautiful!!  I have seen a lot worse from Best Buy steelbooks. I love all my WeET purchases,  honestly it is probably the premium I'm attached to the most : )

What was the damage on Dark Phoenix (same as IW ?) ?  I didn't it pick up on release so its on my list to get someday (loved the art for the FS).

I now realize I never even saw any of the ASM movies. Must have stopped after Spidey 2. 😱 I have always thought Spider-man would be better as a TV show. You get so many more hours to explore stories and such.

Spider-man 3 (editors cut) - got to say I actually really liked this one too. Franco needed a beating in the first movie so it was long overdue and it knocked some sense into him 🤣 I feel like they had too many villains but I loved they explored dark spidey. Def like 2 and 3 way more than 1.

ASM1 - I'm with those that think Garfield's spider-man is better. His awkwardness just works so much better than Maguire's. Emma Stone is always great! This is a much better origin story movie than Spidey 1.

Today was Spider-Man 2.1 soooooo much better!! That was enjoyable, better character development, more personality written in. Much better villain. Please WeET make a WEA for this one! I genuinely enjoyed the horror movie type screaming in a ridiculous campy way.

I was trying to search out a masculine beauty shot of a shirtless Garfiled or something and found this instead. He judged an episode for Drag Race last year 😱 

With this WeET news I decided to re watch all the Spidey films.

Last night was Spider-Man (2002): wow teenager me and woman me are two different people, this movie did not age well for me. MJ annoys that crap out of me now (I grew up watching Dunst and I love her to this day in Bring it On, Marie Antoinette, etc). Toby is not much better,  neither has a personality. And dear lord Joe Manganiello is sooooo much better with age than in 2002 😱.

The second half of the movie was better but that was because it transitioned to action instead of standing on the acting of the cast. Some great actor cameos tho, got Octavia Spencer, Elizabeth Banks, Bruce Campbell, Lucy Lawless, and of course Stan Lee (it was like a brief flash tho).

I really need to re-watch these its been a long time. I know I skipped the last movies for each iteration. Really looking forward to the slips. Is this the release that WeET meant that they were going to do something different with their OC boxset ?

Maybe they got a deal with Sony and they wanted to see this first before giving WEA approval to their Marvel Spider-Man. Def did not plan for this but do want to support bc if WeET can get the go ahead to do most Marvel then they will all come from one premium place 😍

But I got the best buy ones (twice 😩).

Ran into the house after my shift at the hospital and picking up food trying to get the computer before it went to Gold. Ugh its been a wacko day today. Happy it all worked out.
