Are there any updates for this title. As far as I can remember, this title was planned for August and the GB is also closed for a long time. I hope this title will not be canceled 🤔

THE GOONIES CME # 03 UPDATES
Finally here we are!
The month of October will be the month dedicated to the expeditions of The Goonies CME # 03.
Being an exclusive edition with a higher circulation, it will take longer than usual to complete the shipping process which must take into account international orders, combined shipments, collector numbers and purchase groups.
On Tuesday 5th October we will publish live photos of the complete single versions and the Collector's Box, but the tracking will start to be sent only starting from 15th October.
We really wanted to reduce these waiting times, but at the moment the facility that takes care of production, assembly and shipping, is busy on a lot of projects and it is not possible to increase the workload or accelerate it.
We therefore ask you for a last effort while waiting to receive your orders, with the certainty that quality will repay you as always for the long wait.
We thank all the collectors who have kept their preorders, those who over the months have purchased one of the special versions or the collector's box.
I personally apologize for the constant postponement of the release date and if the communication has not always been effective in reassuring customers in the complicated phases that led to the delay.
The Goonies expeditions will follow this process and will take approximately 30 days to complete:
1. International Orders CM Site: Single Versions
2. International purchasing groups: Single versions + Box
3. The Club purchasing group: Single Verisoni + Box
4. Italian orders for CM site: single versions
5. International orders CM site: Box Set
6. Italian orders from CM site: Box Set
7. All direct orders

Extremely careless packing of a fully mediocre release, nothing premium or making a bit of difference...

But hey, its finally a limited and numbered stuff for one of the greatest movies ever

This is of course annoying, since the product pictures (of course) looked very good.
But at least a limited edition 😁

Fortunately, I already own the great anniversary steelbook for this masterpiece.

This film definitely deserves a real premium edition.

So, I have just received a response to my request by email.

Since this is in German, I will translate it into English here:

"Dear Sir or Madam,

We have received your complaint for further processing and would like to take this opportunity to express our regret that your shipment was not carried to your satisfaction. We apologize for this.

The EMS shipment EB752760902CN arrived in Germany on September 22nd, 2021 and was forwarded for delivery. Due to a sorting error, the consignment had to be returned

returned to the sender at the International Postzentrum Frankfurt Airport and

exported to the country of origin on 09/28/2021.

We would like to ask the sender to get in touch with his contractual partner, the sender mail administration, about liability issues.

The sender in China can primarily assert claims for damages.

We regret not to give you any positive feedback."

It might be possible that DHL delivered the package to your custom office (that could explain the unknown name). In that case you should have received a letter from them, but that would not explain the fast return to frankfurt, since they normally keep packages 7 or 14 days.

 

But recently postal services have a lot of errors when it come to the tracking. Anyway I hope this will arrive soon or at least show more clear info.

I have just called DHL Express again.

This employee also found the last scan from September 28th. (IPZ Frankfurt) strange and now contacts the EMS service of the Post. I will probably get feedback tomorrow.

Maybe cause i have seen it happen before , the "wrong" person was a honest person and returned the package to the postal service who then resorted and delivered it to the correct receiver .. maybe that is what happend here too !?

Unfortunately, as the recipient of the parcel, I do not receive an exact proof of delivery including the signature. Maybe you could see more details there. Let's see, maybe it was just a faulty scan and the package will still be delivered to me.

I hope so.

I have just called DHL Express and there I received the information that this package was already on 23.09. was delivered to a person at 1 p.m. The supposed name was ODABAS, and that name definitely doesn't exist in my area.

I can only hope that this information was wrong ...😏

My package is already arrived in Germany on September 22nd and was in customs clearance at the IPZ Frankfurt. Then the package went to the destination depot on September 23rd. Allegedly the package was succesfull delivered on September 23, before it was processed again yesterday at the IPZ Frankfurt ...

Is getting more and more crazy with the parcel services 🤪

It looks extraordinarily beautiful. For me that means that it can not take so long until it is with me 😍

This film is a small masterpiece for this topic. And Kimchi has managed to publish incredibly great editions (of which I have the great fullslip 😁). As I am not a collector of OC, I will be eagerly awaiting a full slip from Manta Lab.

Is there any news about the status of the shipping ?

THE GOONIES CME # 03 UPDATE:
The printing phase is over and, although a reprint of a part of the lenticular cards is necessary to ensure the highest quality for the entire production, I can assure you that the assembly phase will begin as soon as the Joker shipments are finished.
We are still waiting to receive the printing of the booklets and the exclusive special gift of the Box Set, so we will start with the shipment of the single versions in the first half of September and then move on to the Box Sets starting from September 15th.
We used the waiting time for delivery of the material to diversify the contents of each variant and make the edition even richer.

I think it's very beautiful at first glance 😍

I also hope that wlc (or others) will publish more classics in such wonderful editions in the future. My personal favorites include e.g. Films with James Steward, Gary Grant, Audrey Hepburn. And the directors James Capra, Billy Wilder, Alfred Hitchcock.

Looks very good 😍 But I thought the black and white artwork is on the front and back. where should be the "confetti" artwork ?

This 30th Anniversary Edition is probably the most beautiful edition of this film. Unfortunately, the 4K Best Buy Steelbook artwork doesn't completely convince me.
After all, I have this (in my opinion) successful Collectors Edition including Mediabook ✌️

Puh, relaxation for my wallet for at least two years ... * irony off * 😂

But seriously, I have doubts whether this release can compete with the great edition of EB.
