It might sound ridiculous in a community of blu ray collectors...but i have read on 3 different message boards now that a lot of people don't even like the film itself and want to get a OC edition or even already secured one...why don't you wanna save your money and leave the editions for those of us who actually love the film? 🤣🤣

Will this GB be open to all members or will it be prioritized by membership?

Update: I found a relatively cheap copy online and fingers crossed it will arrive in good condition...

This goes out to all American readers of this post that plan to visit a Barnes & Noble store themselves anyway this month

I'm from Germany and usually buy my Criterion Collection titles during the sale through amazon u.s. if Barnes & Noble is already sold out online. However, the packaging/shipping of both amazon and B&N is never great for collectors and more than half of the titles have arrived damaged in some shape or form, which is frustrating, since B&N doesn't even accept returns from outside the U.S. as i have been told multiple times by their support.

Without having much hope I just wanted ask in case anyone was planning to visit a B&N themselves anyway, if they would be willing to pick up one item for me and ship it so it doesn't arrive all beat up, all expenses would of course be paid for.

It's a rather big and expensive item, so of course i would pay up front if necessary - the item in question is the Ingmar Bergman's Cinema box that is going for 149,99 USD during the sale.

Ordering this item online and shipping it to Germany i can imagine would be quite a gamble and i already would expect it to arrive with dinged corners and other fun extras, so i don't want to take the risk at this price.

Having a fellow mp member picking it up in person would be the greatest thing ever. Seriously. I thought i'd ask just in case but keep my hopes low!

I really hope UHD Club will be making an edition of Tenet! Especially considering them doing most of the Nolan catalogue
