  1. I have mixed feelings about this at the moment! The chalk outline doesn't seem attractive and really hoping they change it. As for the second pic, with the red curtain and the dinner tables set up. That seems cool. But so far, I'm 50/50. Will just have to wait and see I guess.
  2. I know. I just recently bought it myself as well. Both of them, Cover A and Cover B. 😂😂 But I'm also going to have to buy this one too because I like the cover art and it's a steelbook.
  3. Thanks to @cypheria078 for creating this challenge # 31. Did that really happen? Here is my 5 favorites that I've selected from my collection. Some are based on true events, some are biopics and some are a mixture of both. 1. Malcolm X (An awesome biopic from when he use to be 'Detroit Red' in his earlier days in life to when he transformed to actually becoming Malcolm X) 2. Richard Jewell (Based on the true story of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Park bombing and the security guard who noticed something suspicious) 3. Donnie Brasco (Based on the real life events of Joseph Pistone who infiltrated on of the New York mafia families) 4. Tyson (It chronicles the upbringing and reputation of Mike Tyson from his childhood all the way to up to his retirement from boxing) 5. Catch Me If You Can (Based on a few true events in the early 19th century)
  4. Any other way to buy this? I tried to order the collectors edition from the Zavvi UK website and it wouldn't let me purchase it because I live in the US.
  5. Thank you to @extantsrevenge for creating this challenge # 30 Here is my submission of 5 different movies with 5 of my favorite villains. Although there are many villains, I picked the ones that I really liked as my favorite at the moment. 1. Inglourious Basterds (without Hans Landa, the movie would've slightly been dull. Hans always kept the audience in suspense) 2. X-Men: Apocalypse (Apocalypse was the only mutant that literally had all the powers of the mutants combined. That's pretty cool IMO. That's what I like about his character) 3. Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (I don't like much horror movies and that's why my collection on this genre is very limited. But Michael Myers is the best villain when it comes to horror and his motivation and hunger for revenge never stops. It's because of Halloween that paved the way for other villains such as Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees) 4. The Matrix (1991) (Agent Smith was there every step of the way. A virus that wouldn't go away. There's an everyday agent Smith in our society unfortunately at this day and age) 5. Cape Fear (1991) (Max Cady (Robert De Niro) truly took the law into his own hands after not getting a proper representation from his lawyer. I respect people like Max minus the violence of course) Hans Landa Agent Smith
  6. Thank you to @raylight for creating challenge #4. 👍 Also thanks to @extantsrevenge for allowing us to go back and complete older challenges. 👍 1. Rad (BMX bike) 2. American Made (Airplane) 3. Broken Arrow (Hummer and B2 Stealth Bomber) 4. Iron Man (Fighter Jets) 5. Kill The Irishman (Car)
  7. Thanks to @InfiniteDoors for this challenge #29. Here's my contribution! 1. U.S. Marshals 2. Casino 3. Kingpin 4. Ransom 5. Colors 6. Big Daddy 7. Pulp Fiction 8. Gotti 9. Bronson 10. Gandhi
  8. Thanks @ethnosax for creating this challenge #11. 👍 Thanks again to @extantsrevenge. 👍 "It is happening again" Here are the 5 movies I chose from my collection that are sequels. 1. Back to the Future II I must say the flying DeLorean was IT for me. It made me really fall in love with the BTTF franchise. 2. Ted 2 After seeing the first one, I couldn't wait for the 2nd installment. The comedic jokes just kept getting funnier and funnier coming out of a teddy bear. 3. The Dark Knight Honestly, Batman is not much without his arch nemesis the Joker. The Joker compliments Batman in every movie he's in. Heath's acting was superb. So was Jack Nicholson's in the 1989 Batman movie. 4. The Equalizer 2 I want to say that TE2 was better then the first one but in actuality. I like both equally and the storyline just keeps getting better. Can't have one without the other and I'm waiting for the 3rd installment this year. 5. X2: X-Men United I grew up watching X-Men cartoons. So when I heard it was gonna hit the big screen. I was excited. All mutants getting together for one sole purpose. The one movie I would love to see a sequel of has to be Face/Off. I though the director John Woo did a brilliant job from beginning to end.
  9. Thanks to @lunazero for creating this challenge #19. 👍 Thanks to @extantsrevenge for allowing us to go back and accomplish older challenges. 👍 "Through the Decades" Here are 5 movies i have chosen from 5 different decades. 1. Close Encounters of the Third Kind (70's movie-Released in 1977) This was my first 'UFO' movie I saw. Not in theaters but on TV. This movie got me in to watching the X-Files. 😆 2. Midnight Run (80's movie-Released in 1988) Robert De Niro, IMO did a pretty good job in this movie considering that it was a comedy. Every step Robert and Charles took it was an adventure. Sad that Charles Golden passed way. 3. The Truman Show (90's movie-Released in 1998) I really can't get enough of this movie honestly. Kinda similar to what all of us are going through in life at times. 😆 4. Batman Begins (00's movie-Released in 2005) What can I say about Batman that hasn't already been said. I really liked how it shows the audience the origins of his upbringing and how it all started. Losing his parents really played a major role into who and what he became in life. 5. American Hustle (2010's movie-Released in 2013) Even though this movie was a tad bit long for my taste. I thought the cast of this movie was well put together and I really loved the storyline. Plus it had the same cast as the movie, 'Silver Linings Playbook' which I also really like. I stared collection DVD movies in the mid 2000's because that's all I could afford at the time. My favorite decade for movies has to definitely be the 90's. IMO the movies in this era are truly the best. It was all action packed and great storylines. You don't see actors similar to Steven Seagal, Jean Claude Van Damme, acting they way they acted on the big screen anymore nowadays or directors directing like Martin Scorsese, John Woo and Jerry Bruckheimer any more nowadays.
  10. Thank you to @bossjon for this challenge #12. I know you said mix and match and I tried but it I didn't seem to have much in my collection. Most of these movies in this post probably fall under the same category but at least their 3 different directors. 😄 👍👍 Also thanks to @extantsrevenge for allowing us to post older challenges. 👍👍 My 3 favorite directors are Michael Mann, Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino. 1. Michael Mann -Collateral -Public Enemies -Heat (Favorite movie because 27+ years later and I never get tired of it. I've seen this movie dozens of times) 2. Martin Scorsese -The Wolf of Wall Street (My favorite movie was The Departed for a very long time but in the past few years, I've actually grown to really love this movie) -The Departed -Casino 3. Quentin Tarantino -Inglourious Basterds (It's truly hard for me to pick just 1 of QT's movies but if I had to it would be this one. It's Quentin's funniest movie IMO) -Reservoir Dogs -Django Unchained
  11. Thanks to @Catgirl for making up this challange #13. Also thank you to @extantsrevenge for allowing us to post specific previous challenges going forward. I have to at least win one award this month. Hopefully! 😀 Here are my 5 favorite TV series! 1. The Sopranos (This series literally paved the way for shows like breaking bad and other HBO series classics. Can't get enough of it. I consistently watch this show on my HBO Max streaming service) 2. The X-Files (This show made you think outside the box. Full of suspense and mystery. I would get butterfly's at times watching certain episodes) 3. Married With Children (If you thought your life sucked, all you had to do was watch MWC and you'll instantly feel good about yourself. Classic comedy from beginning to end) 4. Breaking Bad (Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul were a dynamic duo like Batman and Robin. I would look forward to this show every week. Every episode left you in suspense waiting for the next) 5. City On A Hill (When I watched the first season of this show, I fell in love with it. Had to buy it on blu-ray immediately. It gives me this feeling of nostalgia, when times were very different but not as chaotic as today) And pretty much all the shows I like have already had a physical release. The only thing I would really love would be if they would release The Sopranos on 4k but I highly doubt it because it doesn't seem to be in demand as much.
  12. Thanks to @Veum for this challenge 27. I decided to go with a 5 revenge movies mixed 2 vigilante movies. And of course, I can watch all these movies over and over again without ever getting sick of it! I'm also looking forward to The Equalizer 3 movie coming out later on this year. (Revenge Movies) 1. Django Unchained 2. The Punisher (2004) 3. The Equalizer (An instant classic IMO) 4. The Equalizer 2 (A great sequel) 5. Cape Fear (1991) (Vigilante Movies) 6. Batman Begins 7. The Watchmen (2009)
  13. I totally agree. When all else fails. MP always comes through!! Thanks MP!
  14. This is exciting! Two Leon releases in less then two months!
  15. You literally have to be on standby to even have a chance to get one!!
  16. @R1s1ngs0n Thanks for this difficult challenge #25, at least it was for me! Didn't have much to choose from my collection. Hoping I got most of it right. 1. The Passion of the Christ (Hebrew) 2. Inglourious Basterds (German) 3. Jet Li’s Fearless (Japanese) 4. Eastern Promises (Russian) 5. The Godfather 2 (Italian) As to which foreign movie I would like to see a premium released? I’m going to have to go with The Passion of the Christ.
  17. Could I list a movie where English is spoken but is also includes another language here and they're in the scenes such as Italian or Russian?
  18. Thanks to @Gary K for this challenge #24. I didn’t have many choices in my collection for me to just pick one category as the favorite so I decided to do three collectively. 3 Best pictures, 1 best actress and 1 best director. 1. The Departed (Best Picture) 2. The Godfather (Best Picture) 3. The Godfather 2 (Best Picture) 4. The Revenant (Best Director Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu) 5. Silver Linings Playbook (Best Actress-Jennifer Lawrence) I'm sure there's more than a few movies each year that deserve to win best picture but never did for whatever reason.
  19. @extantsrevenge Your definitely right! Found one on eBay at a ridiculously high price.
  20. Thanks to @extantsrevenge for this challenge #20. It wasn't easy but at least I tried and put the effort in. 😀 I'll do more challenges as I keep up! Part 1: 5 movies that I love but only have on DVD and wouldn't mind being released on blu-ray! 1. Gotti (1996) (Great film and brilliant acting by Armand Assante. He really captured the true essence of that life) 2. Death to Smoochy (Hilariously funny, dark comedy at it's best) 3. Bullet (1996) 4. The Ref 5. Chappelle's Show Season 1 (This one which is definitely not a movie but TV comedy sketch show. Didn't have much options) Part 2: A few movies I would definitely want to get a steelbook release of if they ever release one! 1. Body of Lies 2. Double Impact 3. Eyes Wide Shut 4. The Cable Guy 5. Quick Change 6. The Dream Team
  21. I know I'm a little late to this but just thought I put in my two cents. Thank you to @Chief_lookout for this challenge #16! Here is my top ten favorite movies. 1. The Equalizer 1 2. The Equalizer 2 3. King of New York (Abel Ferrara truly brought out the roughness of New York in the early 90's) 4. Point Break (1991) (I would really love to see a steelbook of this movie, just brings back great memories for me. Patrick and Keanu were just superb, beautiful chemistry. I'd probably hope that either Cinemuseum or Manta Lab would do a 1 click, DL and a SL) 5. The Wolf of Wall Street 6. The Dark Knight (A classic film and I believe was one of Heath Ledger's best role before his passing) 7. Batman Returns 8. Devil’s Advocate (This movie definitely deserves a steelbook, a classic IMO. Not sure why no company has released one yet) 9. Watchmen (2009) 10. Batman Begins
  22. Thank you to @Fortis93 for the challenge. This is my first time doing one of these challenges so if I make a mistake, please don’t hesitate for anyone to correct me. My favorite genre is action movies although I love all kinds. In no specific order. 1. The Equalizer 1 2. The Equalizer 2 3. Face/Off 4. Collateral 5. Heat
