Hi Everyone
Firstly, can I just say that this is an outstanding site - as a lifelong Jaws fan I never knew there was so much to collect from around the world!!!
Being the same age as the Jaws movie I have always collected movies but unfortunately I have found this to be a dangerous task in the past:
80s/90s Collecting VHS tapes - had a massive collection but then unfortunately I met my future wife who within a few years had moved my collection from the Living Room to the Kitchen then to the Garage and eventually to the local charity shop - I'm not sure Oxfam wanted an Ex Rental version of Last House on the Left but they got them all anyway...
90s/00s - I collected DVDs again had a really great collection going but alas as we now had children we needed to move to a bigger house with more space (it appears my VHS collection didn't free up enough room) and my DVD collection was sacrificed. I managed to sneak a few away to a secure location until they were again taken to the local charity shop who questioned why I had 4 versions of An American Werewolf in London - I didn't answer as my mind was distracted at the fact I hadn't got some of them to safety...
Anyway Blu-Ray came and I ignored it - it was just too hard going back into the physical world and then 4k just tempted and teased me but I resisted until Jaws 45th Anniversary 4K Edition (and no I don't own a 4K player) but it looks great on my shelf so I have decided to work clandestinely and renew my purchases of all things Jaws with a view to being tempted to the point of purchase on other items.
So Mediapsychos - thanks so much for existing - gutted I have only found you now but the content you put up and the helpfulness and warmth I have received so far has made me forget all the pain of my previous VHS/DVD losses :) ...(nearly)
