Not sure if it’s needed, but I would still like to keep my order. I think this was one of the first releases I was pumped about when I learned about prestige labels.

Hey all! I haven’t been active as much lately. I got a promotion at work which has taken away about 13 hours from my week. But it’s been a blast nonetheless! But…for your consideration, here are 10 of my BluFans releases. Getting four Mad Max movies put me over the edge at last. Love ya’ll!

Funny, I don’t always go with lenticulars but this is giving me Blade Runner vibes where the lenticular might be the winner over the FS. Blasphemy I know. 

I went as Leon for Halloween once. I carried a houseplant with me and a spritzer bottle. Can’t wait for this release!!!

Oh I like this more than the Best Buy one I saw 

Oooof do I cancel the Zavvi special edition in hopes for this?? Feels like a gamble

Mostly on the mend. Just tired now. But early part of the year involved pretty sad family stuff that happened. During Covid I was wanting to post photos of my collection to the group but just had no energy for anything. Anyway, this would be a nice post Covid reward!

Curtis Hanson gave us several outstanding films in his career, but this one stands out as a masterful comedic gem. Outstanding performance’s by Michael Douglas, Tobey Maguire, Frances McDormand and Robert Downey JR. 

 

If you haven’t seen this one, I highly recommend it friends.

 

 

One of my top ten favorite movies in fact. Was so desperate for a Steelbook I had a custom one made. It’s “ok.” It holds the friggin DVD. I wasn’t aware they’d released a bluray. I think I’ll order now! This was one of the early RDJ comeback films!

Since Amazon IT has this and now Zavvi, I wonder if Best Buy will get it as well.

fedex hasn’t updated that it has arrived so I didn’t expect it to. Actually I have three days off coming up so I’ll take some photos of it and post.

Mine just arrived. I love it. Just like the Singing in the Rain release but even nicer. Both are Warner Bros. So hopefully they sell well enough they’ll do more of their classics. Just perused the 100 Warner Bros classics and so many would be great choices. Searchers please!!

One thing that is very different with vinyl from movies: record labels do great series, that extend to hundreds of titles sometimes.  

I wish studios would do the same.  Instead we have to (get to) wait for anniversary editions of great films and they are almost all different presentations and formats.

 

Looking forward to getting this one, though.

 

 

That would be so nice! Even just like 25 classics in this format. Limited run since they are no doubt in less demand.

Literally everything you said. This is up there with any monologue in cinema history. And yes he looks like Vader in Empire in this scene. Just wow. I feel like I’ve been waiting for this since I first saw Star Wars as an 11 year old. Took almost 30 years!

Yeah after that episode I think it’s one of the best seasons of television we’ve had period. I’m continually astounded. And that monologue at the end…

And, imho, Disney should get Susanna White to direct every Star Wars project until the end of time.

Honestly I’m really hoping this show sets a new bar for Marvel/SW. Just a “oh crap we need to do better.”
