some negative comments can be very constructive, i see a place like media psycho as a place to debate with other collectors, when you can say why you like this and don't like that or why you think this release id better than another. If we use a collector community only to praise all releases or be silent when we don't like it it would get so boring.

I'm a bit lost here...

Was not aware of this release since yesterday. joined the GB as i think it looks fantastic, and now i take my time reading the whole thread.

And this particular part bugs me.

Why can't members say they don't like it for one or another reason, why no negativity towards a release ?

Some releases are major disappointments, some others are overpriced, i mean, we can't praise every thing that is made, and sometimes for black on white down to earth objective reasons. and on top of that, we are collector, not retailer's employees  and have the right to express our point of view, even a negative one, aren't we ?

When i saw this edition on the homepage on the twitter section, my heart REALLY missed a beat. i was not expecting such a big release anymore.

UHD club is really nice, i love/own the HD zeta ones, the manta ones where a bit of a disappointment.

I live near a cinema museum theatre where i have the chance to see blade runner every year.

When i first saw blade runner i was a bit too young, thought it was good but not THAT good, a few years later i  watched it again, and again and again..

When 2049 came out i obviously had high expectations. Luckily (unlike some others) it was even above my expectations. At the end of the first screening i stayed in a  time suspended moment until i had to leave the theatre. Went 4 times on Imax.

IF one release is superior i would like to know why, content wise this one have way more in it than the UC, so why superior ???

trimming a Blade runner 2049 GB update should result in being banned. as simple as that. 😄

joined today, there was only one choice.  I dont think  the slips are sold separately.

don't think this one made it in the GB update phase thread.

any other way to be aware of the new gb's ?

Got them all except the blufans  (thought that one was way overpriced, for a WWA with a slip....)

I am now waiting my invitation to the club. it's been really long since i participate in a GB, so first time i have to deal with the "new" system.

one of my favorite movies and i completely missed that....

saw this by coincidence today, and joined the GB, the good thing is i will have to wait less than i f i had seen this at the announcement 😄

But only if price is fair cause the fright night cast autograph can easily be obtained at various conventions. And if i have to choose i would prefer to get it signed myself

This looks like the best possible boxset for my favourite movie ever ! Just can't miss that !

Will the signed edition be randomly put in some of the boxsets ?

This is VERY promising…seriously though, a great quality FN2 release would be welcome and I hope they do a great job.  
 

 

 

 

 

There is already a very decent fright night 2 HD release, german blu-ray and HDTV broadcast.

I can live with that if nothing better is found. but of course a brand new transfer would be the cherry on the top.

just afraid this release wont come before 2025/2026
