Wait, You're blaming Rita Repulsa for not taking the time out to watch The Terminator? -
No I absolutely agree with you when it comes to those effects. I actually was just mainly referring to a scene close to the end of the movie. I think stop motion was the technique used to achieve that scene. It doesn't effect my enjoyment of the movie, but I do like warning new viewers of the film who may over judge because their looking at the film with year 2020 eyes.

It's definitely worth watching, It's important to keep in mind the first movie was made on a lower budget. So some of the effects don't hold up, but that doesn't interfere in the overall quality of the movie. It's one of the movies that is considered a Classic that I believe still is deserving of such a title.
