My name is Andy, and I am a 50 something American, living in New Jersey. All my friends and family discourage collecting physical media and would rather stream content. I, however, am obsessed with owning film. I remember seeing Star Wars in the theatre when I was in 6th grade. Unbelievably, Jimmy M had a birthday party 14 months after Star Wars opened and had a copy of the film on VHS! I couldn't believe you could pop in a cassette anytime and watch Star Wars on your TV! I decided then and there that I would have a great movie collection when I got older. And here we are- 40 something years later, and I have amassed over 280 films on blu ray/4K, some of which are collector editions from Hong Kong. My collection is not much compared to you all, but much better then my friends and familiy's!
