Yeah I keep hearing it’s “a new AI process” and while that might be true, it’s still just a variation of the same DNR/sharpening/EE flavor IMHO. Avatar 1 is pretty rough too.

 

Gonna hold on to my True Lies LaserDisc and Aliens BD but still excited to take a look at these new discs. 

I watched True lies stream last night and the edge enhancement and sharpening is so aggressive to the point that it looks blurry around their head. 

the PQ transfers have made me hesitant on getting these, Cameron just loves making everything smooth and waxy 😂

Hopefully we get this one soon 🔥

Hopefully we get movies like Fight club, die hard with a vengeance, and many more 20th century films on 4k

Premium editions of Nolan films are usually only allowed to use official poster art, so with only a limited number of posters for a film, that's why all the additions look very similar. Different rearrangements of the same images. So far as I know, Oppenheimer only has these five official posters; not much for Manta to work with:
