I saw it Friday and was entertained. I'd put it somewhere near the middle (the lower half) of the MCU.
That about sums Quantumania up for me too. Which somehow still makes it better than almost all of Phase 4.

I'd prefer that neither team wins. Sadly, not possible. I just don't care for either the Chiefs or Eagles. Though I think Philadelphia takes this one.

Challenge 14: The Animals
1. The Scorpion King - Scorpion
2. Batman Begins - Bats
3. Jungle Cruise - Jaguar (also a hippo)
4. Mulan - Horse
5. War For the Planet of the Apes - Ape (also a horse)
6. John Wick Chapter 3 - Dog
As for a favorite animal -- it's a cheetah. Have you ever heard one purr? I rest my case.

Time to introduce some more variety to Challenge 13:
12 Monkeys - A show that's actually consistent with its time travel rules. It's my gold standard of TV. Season 1 is fairly standard sci-fi, but it starts to go bonkers in all the best possible ways from there.
Psych - Pure hilarity abounds. Roday and Hill capture the perfect friend chemistry with their characters.
The Librarians - It's charming, it's cheesy, and I love every second of it.
Stargate SG-1 - I loved the 1994 movie. I love the show (and how it builds on the mythology) more.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's The Lost World - Yes, it ended on a cliffhanger (after technically securing funding for a fourth season) which sucks, but it doesn't diminish the joy of exploring the plateau.
Seeing some of the Disney Plus content getting physical releases would be great (The Mandalorian, Andor, WandaVision, etc.).

Choose Keanu Reeves.
You can never go wrong.
I'd believe that. But I saw Resurrections. So I don't.

You've just stepped into the matrix. Everything is fine.

Hi Nils,
I put a request for a FS but not sure if it went through as it directed me back to this thread again?
That's standard. You should still have your PM (no notification) to confirm your request.

Just finished watching episode 10. Yeah, it's the best of these Disney series for sure. Some fantastic complex characters, even the ancillary characters are interesting and have depth. I'd prefer a slightly more original origin story, but, hey, the Empire created a lot of displaced children.
It's taken me a little bit to remember names (that's not always my strong suit), but it's amazing how well I feel I know each and every character. Even the background characters are fleshed out in such dynamic, realistic ways. It helps that the show is incredibly well cast (and the director(s) are getting some fantastic performances out of everyone). Honestly, just some of the subtle looks are saying more than many shows do with their dialogue.

It might be breaking into my top five, if it sticks these last two episodes. Which I'm fully convinced it will.

But it doesn't matter that you see it coming, it still hits you, such a great moment. I love how they use Darth Vader imagery/costuming with him, blurring that line of evil/good, "using the tools of my enemy". . . . . fan . . . freakin' . . . tastic.
The fact that we're even seeing a darker side to this fledgling rebellion is what makes scenes like this so powerful. We know that they eventually win, but what they had to do to get there... Rogue One hints at it, but Andor is just throwing it all out there.

I think I reached this conclusion several episodes ago, but Andor is, far and away, the best show on Disney Plus. In fact, regardless of platform, this has just been phenomenal storytelling.

also for me it's the first GB with the new method, what's mean "By checking the box "BUY NOW" and then clicking "Send" I acknowledge that this or these items will be ordered as a Special Order item. I hereby agree to pay in full all associated costs involved with this Special Order. " ??
It's an agreement to pay if MP is able to secure your order for you (that includes any slip(s), shipping costs, etc. associated with your order). In other words, no backing out. Only order what you really want.
You will have to checkmark those boxes if you wish to submit your order.

Hey guys,
I made 3 clips to describe briefly the processes MP went through while making this release. Hope it will give you more appreciation of the item you purchased!
It wasn't easy for me and I lost my thoughts frequently while recording.

I think these should work:
1. War for the Planet of the Apes (horse)
2. Midway (plane on the carrier deck)
3. Independence Day (alien ship)
4. Uncharted (helicopter carrying a carrack)
5. Hunter Killer (submarine)

Bring on the 8-disc special edition! One disc for the movie, the rest for the hijinx! 🤣
I'm good with this. We just need to get in touch with the right folks to make it happen. LOL.

I mean, yes, but that might be longer than the actual movie. 😆

Definitely lucky on this one. No damage suffered, didn't lose power, but our lake is noticeably higher.

I tend to keep a fair bit of my collection sealed, so I'm somewhat limited in what I can show off as a favorite, but these are some standouts.
1. MediaPsychos Captain Marvel & Avengers: Endgame Holofoil Magnets:
These seem to be a relatively popular choice, but it's Marvel. They're stunning. What else is there to say?
2. EverythingBlu Hellboy II: The Golden Army Photos
It's the presentation on this one -- the witness statement, the protocol, and questionable photos of Hellboy in action -- that seamlessly flows together.
3. Manta Lab Lenticular Stickers
Just a few shown here (but I love them all) from my larger collection. At this point, these just feel synonymous with Manta Lab. I'm always looking forward to what the next one looks like, and how they tie Manta Lab name and the movie together.

While this announcement probably would have blown the roof off of D23 (and completely overshadowed everything else), I'm not going lie, casually dropping this on a Tuesday was hilarious.

I will never not take the time to preach the greatness that is 12 Monkeys. It's four seasons, but it's a perfectly crafted four seasons. The first season is a slow burn and then goes bonkers in all the best possible ways. And, sure, I'll be the one to say it -- I think it's superior to the movie. Just be aware, they share only a basic premise.
Which is probably because it was never intended to be 12 Monkeys. Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett originally pitched it as an original script called Splinter, but Atlas Entertainment had apparently been wanting to create a TV show based on the movie for a while. Matalas and Fickett agreed to tweak their script into an adaptation. Since the two of them were "too green", Season 1 was helmed by Natalie Chaidez (who was the primary showrunner), Terry Matalas, and Travis Fickett.
As for Todd Stashwick... let's just say Liam Shaw doesn't come as a surprise. His portrayal of Deacon is every bit as fantastic. His character is regarded as one of the standouts on 12 Monkeys too.
If you like Todd Stashwick, his performance is an absolute treat.
