So the latest news is that the retailer (like every other company in China) is experiencing additional delays due to the latest large wave of COVID infections.  Once that subsides, things will pickup.  Imagine the Chinese New Year is slowing things as well.  
 

I don’t have a specific timeline, but please continue to be patient.  This release is definitely worth the wait.

Seems as though the company over in China only cranks out a few at a time, then walks them cross country to a barge in between lockdowns.  Then, once the barge makes its way to friendlier shores, they're sent via media-mail to whoever's re-mailing to us.  I wouldn't get excited about receiving your order anytime soon.  I've put it behind me.  Guess when it finally arrives, I'll feel really fortunate and surprised, as I wasn't expecting it.

So, I just read that per the new policy, we're supposed to get an invitation to a club for group buys.  Was a club created for this GB, or no?  I never received an invitation, nor do any clubs show up under "my clubs" of which I'm a member.  I have also checked the "bell" (notifications) and I don't have an invitation sitting there, either.

I'm just curious as apparently PayPal invoices are no longer sent, but invoices sent through the club?  Could this be the reason I've not received a shipping invoice?

Anyhow, I also would like to participate/buy into the priority shipping thing, but I'm unsure where/how to go about that.

Are we supposed to post here when we’ve paid the shipping invoice, or is it just a flex on those who’ve yet to receive one?

So did the money I sent include the shipping, or do I still need to pay for shipping?

This was supposed to release in January, correct?  At what point will it be determined that this release may not happen?  This is a new company, if I understand correctly.  Is it possible it just won't get off the ground?

I received an invoice last week and paid it (all except shipping cost to be determined later).

Now that China is locking everything down again, I expect the wait will go on for awhile.

It's my first group buy, so I'm curious: do we always pay before the release is set?  Is this release even available for pre-order on a website somewhere?  Just wondering as it's a bit of coin to part with, not knowing if or when the item will be available.
