HI, thanks to UHD Club for giving us the opportunity to share our opinion on this release. I will go with Glossy and without border (could be nice to see an example as could turn to be different than I'm visualizing it and/or give others a different perspective); also the idea of a DigiBook or Digipak instead of Scanavo (Amaray) release will be great. I’m liking the way this retailer is acting on the wishes of collectors..... very commendable... for me I like the Glossy finish without a doubt...with respect to the border im fine either way as it makes the package look more like a book , its be nice to see a side by side comparison, with and without......either way its going to be a very nice Edition...

Never bought (or seen pics that I recall) of these UHD Club wooden boxes, so what exactly is the deal??

 

The images on this thread Look like a Fullslip design, so am I looking at a wooden box or slip? And what is inside it? Scanovo case or digibook?

 

lastly, how much do these usually cost? I am very tempted with this one as a “dip my toe in the UHD pool” so any pics and or advice of any previous releases you may have, would be really appreciated 🤞🏼😁👍🏼

If I can help you. I have the SPR and forest Gump UHD club editions and cudnt recommend them enough. There smart and different. Wooden design with a Scanavo inside. I was dubious myself after mostly getting steelbooks in past. Here is latest pic. Looks spot on to me. Get on that GB mate 👍

I really can't remember mate, like you I'm in for a lot haha. Sure it was about $95 or something for the forest Gump and Dunkirk I've paid for. I think some people say these editions are pricey when just a Scanavo inside but there unique. That's gets my vote 😁👍

Generally, they run about $90-$95 for first invoice and then another $25 or so for shipping invoice. This one being all color will likely be 'for a few dollars more'.

Thank you for bringing this up.

When UC first prepared for this release, they only got the 4K discs but now it will include the BD.

I have been watching this release thread very closely since it was first announced. It does look nothing but complete awesomeness and am now pleased to say I’m now committed to this group buy. I’ve had a little nudge in the righ direction with this decision from my mate @Robertm89
