I hope this will be released soon. I wanted to see the movie again, but since they announced this I did not want to open my UK Steelbook anymore. I was also really looking forward to Dirty Dancing & The Shawshank Redemption, but at the moment I think these projects are dead ?

This is part of the issue that made me GGRRR with FA  . So meny delays and so little information .

Part of me likes the fact you have a choice of edition .

Part of me dislikes it as I have to choose and I am hopeless at that choosing .

@extantsrevenge could it be worthwhile buying an amray to watch cheep and cheerfull to watch ?

The bother is because FA know that whatever they choose because it is FA they will sell ...

@DodgyDave you're right, already terrific releases of these movies. I think FA considered dropping some but most likely deceided against that because they want to move the Steelbooks. I'm also not sure if the contracts they have allow them to abandon these completely.

 

But I think it is safe to say that FA is annoyed by this as well. Warner seems to be hard to deal with for them at the moment. After Kong they did not announce any more Warner titles. Had hoped for Wonder Woman. Also they want to get away from the WWA and make more WEA, when you look at their store it is creal that these sell better than the WWA releases.

 

@Scary Hair Shawshank is still listed in the "Furthermore" list of FA, no mentioning of The Thing, Dirty Dancing or other Classic titles ?

I hope so, I just checked and the 4K is available in Czech so I see no reason why they should not include that, especially since they are doing 4 Editions with a Maniac Box.

Not if it’s a 4 edition WEA Exclusive. 
The print run will be quite high.

Not the case for Dr Strange and Cap America Civil War though.. I'm guessing those will be Jaws GB type 2 and 3? 🤔
