Where did you see this combination? I only know the one with the moth on both sides 🤔

So here it is. The reason why i had to keep some people waiting a little longer for their requests, was the following Steelbook i made. It was a request from @ksosk and @Masterblaster. They wanted to have this as a Christmas gift for the Staff of MP.

ThX Buddy, yeah i like it too. The colors of Front and Back are matching perfectly. But that's not my merit 😉. It was the idea of @Digitale_Kunst to take this combination.

Hey, ich bin selbst Grafiker und muss sagen da sind einige super Designs dabei. Der gute Umgang mit Schriften ist da nicht immer selbstverständlich. Meinen vollsten Respekt!

 

Hast du schon Steelbooks direkt bedruckt ? Wollte das mal mit einer kleinen Druckerei hier in Erfurt probieren. Da brauch man einen UV Druck oder wie das hieß. Dafür muss man ein altes Steelbook halt erstmal nackig machen mit Aceton oÄ.

 

Ich glaub das erste wäre ein Magnolia Steelbook - keine Ahnung warum dieser Film noch kein richtiges SB hatte..

 

Hast du Magnolia schon dabei gehabt ? Könnte man da eins von dir bekommen irgendwann irgendwie 🙂🙃

hast du eine Photoshop Vorlage wegen den Größen ? Dann würde ich mich auch mal dran probieren

Muss wohl mal den Laser hier einrichten. Habe die Idee, Elemente oder Schriftzüge in 200-300g Papier zu Lasern und diese unter die Folie zu kleben. So könnte man embossed evtl. nachbilden. 🤔

Hast ne PN. Das mit dem Laser klingt interessant. Da würdest du hier für FS mit Embossing aber einige Abnehmer finden 😉

Hi Guys, i've long thought about what i have to say now. So i make it quick and dirty. I'll quit making Steelbooks for others. This decision is not easy for me, cause i know your expectations in having some Steels in from me, but i lost the passion in making them and there were some incidents which make me come to this decision. I hope you'll understand my decision in some way. This means not that i close this Thread. From time to time i will present some Steels i make for my own. But this may take a little time. Please don't be angry about my decision.

Hi Steffan, this is indeed sad news, but I respect your decision 

It is absolutely fine for someone to lose the passion for something, as life is a moving train, and one's priorities and preferences are constantly changing. Life is dynamic, fluid and evolving. 

 

What is not acceptable is the incidents you talked about, and it makes me very angry with those members who may have caused you distress. I hope that small minority is happy with themselves, because they have ruined it for others. 

 

But I can sincerely say, that group is a minority. The majority of the members on this forum have always held you in high admiration, myself included. And it will stay that way. 

 

I hope in future, you can rediscover your passion again, and I hope in the meantime members can give you a break (and give you the respect you deserve). The fact is, there are more important things going on right now, and we are living in exceptional times. 

 

I will still monitor this thread, to admire any beauties you have on display.

 

Thanks again for all your hard work and the pleasure you have given us all these years.
