On September 14th, 2018 Wicked Vision Media released Daniel Haller's "The Dunwich Horror" from 1970 with Sandra Dee, Dean Stockwell and Ed Begley as number 18 of their "Wicked Vision Collector's Series" in three mediabooks with different cover artworks, featuring the official movie poster from USA as Cover A limited to 333 copies, the German VHS release Cover as Cover B limited to 222 copies and a newly commissioned artwork by Simon Sherry exclusively for Wicked Vision as Cover C limited to 222 copies. They also released this new artwork as T-Shirt, that can be bought solely, or in a bundle for a small discount. Cover B show the German alternative title "Voodoo Child", that was also used for the VHS (which was the last time this movie was released in Germany).

As an additional bonus, Wicked Vision decided to this time record a reading of the same-titled short story by H.P. Lovecraft, that this movie is based on; it is read by the German actor Sascha Rotermund, who is famous for dubbing the actors Benedict Cumberbatch, Jon Hamm and Omar Sy. The reading is  included on two additional audio CDs, and of course (unfortunately for all international buyers) only in German. However, regarding the price, this extra comes at no additional costs (compared to all the other mediabooks that also cost €29,99). Movie is of course also viewable in English, but this time all extras are in German as well, with only German subtitles, so not English-friendly. First 100 preorders from the official shop got a hand numbered postcard.

As with Die, Monster, Die! this release was intended for August 17th, but got postponed due to production errors.

Here's the info from the shop site, followed by a trailer, as most of these movies are probably not that well-known ;)

Regarding the quality of the release, this Mediabook is no different than the typical standard for Wicked Vision that I've been praising here. I decided to choose Cover C. Cover B was no choice for me, as I am a sucker for original titles. Cover A is a really neat artwork, no question there. However, as it is the "standard" artwork and a bit plain, and as cover C has rally popping colors and a nice contrast, I decided to go for the interesting new.

A really neat detail is hidden on the disks themself (and unfortunately not legible on the photos) - it reads the usual legal babble ending in: "No unauthorized copying, renting... well, you don't care about it anways! Ph'nglui mglw'nafh cthulhu r'lyeh wgah'nagl fhta gn" - if you don't know it - this is out of H.P. Lovecrafts book on Cthulhu and describes a chantment to summon Cthulhu. I don't know about you, but to me, these little details lighten me up like a child :D

And again, I was lucky enough to get a pre-order card. Here are the photos I took:
