Cutting down email traffic

Perhaps as a first measure, we could disable the "Like/Thank/Laugh" button from initiating an email notice.

Assuredly if someone writes to a thread I'm following, I appreciate being notified so that I can respond but I don't feel I need to be informed just because someone "Likes" what I wrote.

I can discover that easily enough by pulling up the thread when I come on the forum.

Just an idea.

I know we are growing here and assuredly, so is our email notices, so anything that cuts down on those will help perhaps?

pretty sure you can control all that stuff already.  I know I do not get emails for any of that

 

I believe that is tied to the "reputation" selection at the very bottom of me screenshot
