Dang, I forget about that. The luxury of America, where literally nothing is banned or censored unless it's a literal and legitimate snuff film featuring real people dying. Even then, they have numerous subreddits for that here in the good ol' US of A. I've always wanted to live in Germany but I forget that the censorship would mean forfeiting some of my movies!

wrath of silence is pretty sure. Goodbye dragon inn and stray dogs are not, KING HU we are very interested in his films

i can't reply every recommendation, but some of them is on our list. and some korea films at this time release impossible and horror, violence (battle royale) or nudity films (like eyes wide shut) are never release in china.  

please go on recommendation

@Tristan_Wang Awesome!! I completely understand due to the strict censorship in China regarding violence and horror. Some films are very difficult to get the rights to. Tristan have you seen Old Beast? I’m going to go see it at its UK premiere

yes, I have seen it by VOD, and it is worth watching. Life of An old Bastard in Chongqing. mix friendship and family. Wang Xiaoshuai's films company produced this film, and i don't think the disc will sell very well. But they will make some BDR for gift. And i will get one. I think it will not release blu-ray disc public. In China most of film company knows us. because we are the only one to release chinese movie blu-ray disc. we can encode and remaster, and press disc by shanghai epic.  Sometimes they will authorize us to encode and remaster for them, some of films we will release officialy and put it into market.  we are focus on old classic movie of hollywood films and all chinese movies. But very sadly warner, fox universal, sony do not allow us to encode and remaster. So Hong Kong, taiwan,korea or other country must use the same stamper. Some of them maybe release in Britain or north american with english subtitle, but without chinese subtitle, we wanna re-enconde and re-remaster, that is not allowed.

Also videodrome with James woods not sure about the chance of release as it is a pretty weird savage movie and China has strict rules but would love to see that done great film
