[FX] "Y" - Based off of Y: The Last Man

As of April 5th, 2018- FX has officially ordered a Pilot Episode be produced adapting Brian K. Vaughan (Saga, Runaways, Pride of Baghdad) and Pia Guerra's Graphic Novel in to a series.

For those of you that can remember- this adaptation has been in the works for some years now- personally, I remember talks of the series allegedly being produced for MTV back in 2012 and before that- there were talks about making the series in to a feature film. Personally, Y: The Last Man is my favorite graphic novel- beating out even the likes of Alan Moore's Watchmen in terms of must-reads- so I'm hesitantly optimistic about the execution and direction of the series.

What is currently known about the development of this pilot is that:
Michael Green (Co-Showrunner of American Gods and Co-Writer of Blade Runner 2049, Alien: Covenant, Logan, and Murder on the Orient Express) is set to lead the project.

Aida Mashaka Croal (Co-Producer and Co-Showrunner of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones Season 2) is also set to lead the project.
