Can you compare with other movies?

Michael Gracey, the director is new to directing but has always been a great visual artist. With TGS, you can clearly see that from the way he handles the camera angles and every movement made by the casts mimic the beat and tempo of the music!

He made a lot of subtle background movements too to work with the music. The best thing he brought to the film is his scene transitions!

It feels very much like when I first watched "The Prince of Egypt" by Dreamworks Animation!

1f61f.png that movie I did not like. Can you compare with any live action musical?

This is a very different musical. Most of the friends I brought to see love it even though they avoid Les Mis and  Lala. So, I'll say it is closer to Moulin Rouge.
