If I have to choose between woold and leather I would prefer leather.

The Wonder Woman Box looks so nice, I really would like to see more of that. I guess the leather edition will also be great, so that coold be cool as well. But what @PRIAPISM said with metal box sounds super cool as well. So hard ?

Leather or Metal definitely! Wood is nice but not futuristic enough for this movie imho.

Definitely  a wooden box again , much more fitting for the release ....otherwise a nice laser etched aluminum  briefcase style  slip lined with velvet ....

Well, before we push this release over the $300 per copy mark?;

- there's quite a few steels in the wild already (Mondo, U.K., Germany etc)

- as nice as wood is, I tend to agree it would not provide much of a futuristic vibe

- leather is notoriously freaky to work with, as evidenced by "The Revenant" and "Woodstock" releases

- so, what about Acrylic?

Either coloured or clear, I think we could see something exceptional done with that, possibly even a holographic insert?

I think it would provide a nice futuristic look, not too expensive and would be easy to produce. If packaged well, don't think it would suffer damage.

Just a thought...?

Wood would fit with the material the horse is made from, but metal is everywhere in the film. I'd lean toward metal.

@ksosk It depends on what cover images they are going to use. If they are planning to go for the official main poster image, then I'll go for the leather slip.

 

But I think they'll use other images for the case cover, so I hope it will be the wooden box edition. It will be a nice new lineup next to WW. Don't mind if they give some variations to the box, as others say. The style of future. ?

Actually, you made a pretty good point too! 

Leather case may have limitations to colour printing on surface.

You seem to understand materials well!! 

UHD markets themselves as a specialist in wooden boxes. Having acrylic products sounds very cool! 

I know it will be shot down since it is not one of the options we are to choose from but I will bring it up to them nevertheless hehe.

The idea actually struck me while re-arranging by Blu shelves ( a constant effort, sigh) and staring at the "Alfred Hitchock Masterpiece Set" I have.

It's drop dead gorgeous and I was thinking how cool it would be to have a single release in something like that.

Anyway, lots of folks have offered good options but a "glow umbrella shaft" would certainly enhance the effort! ?

Anyway, any props in the release will be under the distribution rights of another division under the Studio, so the process will be a nightmare

Cheapest place I found it was Amazon UK a few days ago wile perusing.
