It's kind of what I'd expect it to be.

 

The OC from last year was approx $186, while this one is approx $133 - that $53 difference makes it around 28% cheaper. The only problem is once you add in shipping (assuming it'll be at least the same, if not more), it reduces that down to being only 15% cheaper (for the UK, at least).

 

Having purchased the OC (with discs) last year, I'm just not sure about doubling up. Tempted, but not sure.

As I only had DL from last GB this is worth a punt…. Plus its always nice to have the first edition of a new series anyway.. happy days…

Oh you are right. The Batman OC had a much higher price. I was thinking of the last few like Leon which was at $160 Retail price.

 

I gave in and requested a OC, as it is the first release in a new line I don't want to miss it. We could have some really cool thinkgs coming in this, provided they don't just rerelease the Manta catalogue. We will know more with the next release.

Looks like this new steelbook has no credits plastered over the rear artwork (hopefully that won't change between now and release). This would mean it makes sense to have 2 steelbooks with front and back displayed at the same time.

 

If not including the discs means this is possible then I'm all for this new CP line as that is a huge positive.

Man... I am so freaking torn right now. I want it. I really do. But....

 

 

I hate to do it, but I think I'll pass and allow myself to pretend, if only briefly, that I'm fiscally responsible and really do not need a fifth freaking copy of The Batman. However, I absolutely love, love, love the idea of cheaper steelbook premiums sans disc and definitely want to see more. If they release something I do not already have multiple copies of or that give me an opportunity to upgrade a standard edition already in my collection I'll jump on it ASAP. But, jeez, didn't I just buy a Manta Lab edition of The Batman? 🤣🤣 Gimmie something new, Manta!
