Yet another froggy here

Hi there,

 

My name's Vincent. I'm French and living in Paris. 

 

It's been a few weeks already that I joined the forum. I've been a peeping Tom until now and I guess it's time to introduce myself. 

 

I've started collecting steelbooks very recently. I bought my first one in january this year, it was Dune which is a great movie and my absolute favorite book and universe. I didn't have a clue that such amazing objects existed. I bought the 3 different versions of the movie available at the time and I realized there was beautiful releases of all my favorite movies. I then started buying all the ones I could find.

 

It was not until this summer that I discovered premium steelbooks with dune's Manta lab. Of course I had missed the pre-order frame and so I bought the one click on ebay for 400 euros. I started to look into ways to be able to buy the next editions I might want. Obviously, the internet quickly brought here! 

 

My favorite movies are The assassination of Jesse James, Interstellar, Dune, Walter Mitty, the Fountain and Memento. 

 

I'm a huge music lover too. Rock music. Radiohead, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sigur Ros, A Perfect Circle, REM.

 I’m a collector too that started w/Best Buy/Target exclusives that really got me into the Premium editions (I started way back though  & gradually upgraded from VHS to DVD to BD to 4K oh my 🤣). then I was fortunate to find out about this terrific forum MP from another forum I followed & MP took over my #1 place since March ‘19 hey 👋
