I'm confused. The entire physical media world has been wanting this, but no one knows about it. How did this random company get the licensing? Scream factory said that the company that owns the rights wouldn't license it out because they considered it an "active franchise". Not only this but 4k as well? How was there not an american announcement for this first?

Hope so, can always replace the discs when a 4K edition comes out. 2024 will be the 40th anniversary for the original, so maybe we will start seeing something for a Steelbook or 4K on its anniversary.

1st, 3rd and new nightmare are my favourites but no surprise seeing as craven did them 2nd ones okay, 4th, 5th and 6th are nothing to special. I still enjoy them all as it’s my favourite horror franchise.
