I respect your opinion, but mine is completely the opposite. I love WCL releases and I cherish each and every one that I’ve been lucky enough to get my hands on.

While one might quibble with the "look" of WCL editions, in terms of content, it's a SLAM DUNK. They arguably do it better than every other company!

Not to qibble- but you get an amaray, an extra DVD (lol), and a booklet. How is that a slam dunk on content?

I’m talking about in terms of printed material and inserts. Many of these have multiple books (more substantial than simple booklets).  I know I don’t collect these WCL titles for the discs themselves, you can get the same video content in any of the less expensive releases.

To be fair, this particular release only has a 28 page booklet.

LOL, I stand corrected on this one since I didn’t look at the BS closely!

I agree, the extras in this particular release are barebones. That is definitely not the norm for WCL. At least the price reflects the edition, 358 CNY is a great price for a limited edition with a small print run. And I’m positive that it will surely surpass expectations when it arrives.

I think a little cool thing they could've added is a possible lenti of the front cover. Have the players "vanish" from the field.

What do you see as disappointments vs successes? Is it titles or mastering?
