I was just curious if you (or others) have watched Cronenberg's original short of "Crimes Of The Future"?

It's currently available on Blu as part of a collection of his early works, from Arrow.

Hey @Grendel! No I have not seen this. Thank you for alerting me to it. Ordering myself a copy now. I am looking forward to Cronenberg’s return to horror. I bet these early shorts are going to be great. Have you seen any of them?

Hi Buddy @Reagh;

I have actually, as I purchased that Blu a while ago.

I'm not the biggest Cronenberg fan, due to the type of "body horror" he is well known for portraying but I'm a big fan of his other works, such as "Eastern Promises", "History Of Violence", "Crash" and others. I also enjoyed; "The Fly, Dead Ringers, Videodrome and Nightbreed".

These shorts are from notably his early days, establishing a foothold in cinema and are worthwhile at least for discovering how the man honed his craft.

I also think his son, Brandon, is displaying worthwhile talent, notably with "Possessor" (his latest, which I enjoyed) and "Saint Maude" seemed to garner applause (though haven't seen it myself).
