Collection of all OPEN GB’s

Recommended Posts

Just a quick thought as this has pained me in the past (and so let me know if this has already been solved for!)

It would be awesome if there was a place I could go to in order to see all open GB’s, as opposed to having to go retailer by retailer. This is more painful when I’m trying to find older GB’s that are still open but won’t come to fruition for a little while. When you go to the retailer’s link, you would have to trawl through all the closed GB’s and perhaps eventually find those older open GB’s. This would also be helpful in situations where you can’t remember which retailer is producing the premium.

Thanks for reading!

@soundsorange Thank you for your suggestion. Speaking just for myself I think there are some pros and cons.

Pros - It would be convenient for members

Cons - More work for the staff to maintain; Members would have less incentive to explore the site. Unfortunately, too many members already ignore 99% of the site and just drop by for GBs

Since all new GBs are announced in the "Notice of Groupbuy In Update Phase Thread" (and threads in other rooms) it should be very easy to keep track of new GBs. And for older GBs in the various retailer threads, the open ones should be at the top. Sometimes I will browse through the retailers and it really doesn't take long.

Final thought - there is nothing stopping a member from creating and maintaining such a list for the benefit of the community, hint hint 😁

Thank you sir, agree with your points, particularly about the fact that it could mean less people getting involved in the wider community and activities (in turn, contributing less) as they may only look at that ‘open GB’ thread.
