This becomes a serious problem, you buy overseas then to find out you could of bought it here for a little cheaper later on (usually my problem that this happens to me), oh boy!! 😔 

Yeah I gotcha. But there really is no way to know unless they announce it, which they usually don't.

1. Do I go ahead & get the most recent steelbook from the film(s) 🎥 I want now?

2. Do I just wait and hope that our great Premium retailers will come out with said steelbook film(s) 🎥 & in an appropriate time?

3. Do I double up or not?

 

 

1.

I made my decision don`t wait anymore for the Premium Dealers,am no longer willing to pay the high prices + the high shipping costs

2.

buy me a Steelbook,eiter UK or FR,IT,such as,now the IT Steelbook Thor Love And Thunder,that gets a Lenticover/Magnet there

3.

make me Custom Artcards & a Custom FullSlip,and so I got my Premium Edition for half

I wish I knew! I sent a message asking that very same question. Their reply was "You are able to add them to a Wishlist and if they come back in stock we will send you a confirmation email." Not exactly helpful!

@MikeH5856 thanks for keeping up on this buddy and letting us know what you do.  I think this could end up being a bigger deal for us than it seams.  I am open to being wrong. 
 

I have gotten 2 of the 5 Mondo Marvels sent and have gotten similar responses to you.

I've emailed them back letting them know the previous response doesn't answer my question at all. If I get a more sensible reply that actually answers the question I was asking, I'll let y'all know ASAP! Sure would be nice if studious/retailers Stateside would get on the ball and do their own collector's editions, but I don't foresee that happening. :/

I just wanted to update you all about postage and shipping statuses, in particular to international routes. 

Firstly, I'm delighted to announce that Royal Mail has now opened up all routes for international parcels, and so we are shipping to overseas customers as normal once more.

Things have been pretty nightmarish so far this year for UK businesses who ship items abroad. Firstly, as the large letter classification to the USA was effectively removed and replaced by a parcel tariff, the cost of sending items to America from the UK almost doubled from the 3rd of January. 
Then, almost a month ago, Royal Mail - our main postage partner - suffered a cyber attack that prevented them from shipping any items to international destinations.

This also meant that parcels already in the system were stuck at the hub and could not be processed. Some copies of our Jason and the Argonauts Ultimate Guide, which were shipped in December, are only just arriving at US and Canada destinations.

The Digital Bits has learned from industry sources—and we’ve confirmed it with multiple sources now—that Best Buy plans to exit the physical media business for good next year, possibly as soon as the end of Q1 2024.

This includes not just their in-store Blu-ray, DVD, and 4K Ultra HD sales, which the retailer has been gradually phasing out for a couple of years now in their many store locations nationwide, but online sales as well. This means no more Best Buy-exclusive Steelbook titles, and no more titles from Best Buy period.

I wish I saw this earlier, I was just at a Best Buy that had 3 of these in stock. I could have grabbed one for you.  Just know that every single one of these that I've seen in person or online has the same damage. There's definitely a production error with these.

Speaking of Best Buy steelbooks... some seriously bad news reported by The Digital Bits today. I guess the writing has been on the wall for a while now, but jesus... All I can say is... stop using inappropriate language!!!!! stop using inappropriate language. What the stop using inappropriate language?!

yeah some of us were talking about this and the question now seems to be what will happen with all the bb exclusive steels. was watching a podcast earlier and some of the discussion in the chat was if steels are still made albeit no longer a bb exclusive will they now perhaps be distributed to smaller stores and outlets that sell physical media.

There's been speculation that Walmart and Amazon will most likely pick it up. Paramount's done a decent job of going wide with their steelbooks, and Walmart's been getting their share of exclusives, too. After seeing the pricing on Amazon's exclusive slip case for John Wick 4, though, I'm already pretty concerned about their pricing on steelbook exclusives! 😆

🤠 Looking for Star Trek Strange New Worlds 4K steelbooks Seasons 1 & 2 but can not find any decent deals, this is where I miss my friend Reagh as he looked out for me and found some ones that I wanted that I could not find myself! 😑
