Please note: Due to overwhelming demand UHD Club will be releasing this blu-ray only edition (no 4k) featuring a different box design limited to 100 copies. Unfortunately, no more 4k discs are available to increase the print run of the 4K trilogy edition.

As stated above, no more 4k discs are available so UHD Club was unable to increase the print run of the 4k release. Since some folks don't really care about 4k this may be a better release for them.

Thinking some more on it, it’s not really a great move to have a different box and make it more limited that the main release.

 

I’d assume those in the first GB couldn’t switch so if they really preferred the much rarer second design, they’re a bit stuck. 
 

Should probably have gone with the original design if releasing a smaller number of extras.

 

Edit: Not saying I’d want to switch.  Just thinking hypotheticals.

Who knows? Maybe it will. As far as I know that list isn't final yet.
