I totally agree with you! It’s such a wasted opportunity. FYI if you noticed there isn’t any 4K release for this yet. According to an article I read they will do a 4K release after part 2. Not sure if it’s a Steelbook, Amaray, or both. Maybe it will be something like Batman Returns, or the 2 part Superman movie where it is one cut.

Hey guys, my understanding is that these two Long Halloween movies haven’t been released but fans seem to be super excited about these releases. Is there something that makes it likely that these will be a big hit and not complete flops? It’s a genuine question as I’ve rarely seen people excited for a steelbook for a film they’ve never seen 🤔

It's based on an uber-classic Batman graphic novel, so people are eager to see what it's like translated into a movie.

It’s just one of the more popular Batman stories, but I’m excited for all the DC Animated Steelbooks so I’m probably the wrong person to ask. Especially since I triple, quadruple dip on these lol.

Ahh ok that makes it clearer why there’s a lot of excitement around these (I wasn’t familiar hence my confusion). Fingers crossed the fans get what they hope for!
