Where is the oddest place you’ve watched a movie?

I’m currently in a tent on a short bike backing trip and I’m watching The Maltese Falcon on my phone. This is definitely a unique spot. What about everyone else? 
 

another example: they would do screening of films at the Hollywood cemetery. That was always a blast.

In bed, at night. Audio only. I used to record movies on cassette tape and listen to them in bed and just visualize the whole thing. Blade Runner was my favorite, naturally. Great sound and atmosphere for listening in the dark!

Oh that’s amazing! What other movies did you record and do you still have the cassettes? What’s something unique you noticed just listening to Blade Runner?

Apocalypse Now was another one. Legend and Thief. Anything with a tangerine dream soundtrack 😁. You notice all the little things. Faint background talking and noises. The way the music shifts and sets the scenes. Not sure if I still have the tapes. Maybe some packed away in storage.

Tangerine Dream yessssss. I did that with video games. I’d find a level with a good soundtrack and record it on cassette. Never considered movies for whatever reason. Love this
