Hi everyone. After seeing everyone else's impressive collections, I thought I'd share my own. I have attached images of my collection as a whole, but also front-facing images of the more premium editions I own. I think it's safe to say I have a soft spot for Studio Ghibli! 😂

Also, can anyone explain, or direct me to where I can find out, what 'one-clicks', and 'lenticulars' are please? I've seen these terms used elsewhere but don't know what they refer to.

It might be small, but we all have to start somewhere, right? I look forward to growing my collection further.

Thanks, Luke

Here is an example of one of our One-click & Lenticular

As you can see there is a Full-slip, lenticular & a quarter-slip which has the steelbook in each...

The Lenti, which is my personal fav, has a beautiful 3-d look to it’s image...

Quote

WHAT IS LENTICULAR AND WHAT DOES THAT ODD NAME MEAN?

Lenticular images are digital files that have been specially prepared and then printed onto a lens material. This material is a special plastic made up of lenticules, hence the name lenticular printing.  The image, viewed through the lenticules, appears to move as it is turned creating dramatic animation or depth.

Thanks for the information, that's cleared a lot of stuff up. Can I ask what your favourite Studio Ghibli films are, @Veum?

@LukeB1410, I have some but to my chagrin, I’ve not seen them as of yet, so sorry image.gif.7f7cd97df69fa60780502973c819ff36.gif

@LukeB1410 great collection, I love Ghibli. I made an extra Guide for the Steelbooks here.

If you like other anime too, check out our Anime section.

My favorite Ghibli is Grave of the Fireflies, then Princess Mononoke, Totoro, Nausicaä, Castle in the Sky and the list goes on 😂. Miyazaki is my favorite Director 👍

@extantsrevenge Sorry for the late reply. I remember seeing that list when I was first trying to find them, it was so helpful 👍. Whisper of the Heart and the Wind rises are my favourites, but obviously all the others are great too. Yeah, Grave of the Fireflies is one of the best war films, but it's just a little bit too upsetting for me to call it a favourite 😂. I'll have a look at the anime section, thanks for linking it.
