So this is the new Studio Ghibli Movie, normally I would now be super excited and happy, but simply take a look at the trailer

 

 

This it completely computer animated in the style you know from the US and everyone else (since no one seems to know normal animations anymore). If it would look like Pixar or Disney this might not be the biggest problem, but it is not. These animations simply look horrible 🤬. The Movie is directed by Goro Miyazaki, the son of Hayao, and Goro already worked with completely computer generated animations on the Ronja, the Robber's Daughter series in 2014, and that turned out horrible 😥

 

It is honestly disgusting to see such a legendary studio change their way so much and do a film like this. Not excited at all.

The art style of the movie does look weird I agree its not to the level of pixar movies but I'll get it nonetheless

Me too 😅. Have to add to the Ghibli Collection, most likely I will watch once and then never again.

The art is horrendous.

I hope the film is good tho' (or at least good for the ghibli standards)
