I remember seeing this movie in high school!
Wasnt really interested in the movie back then, was spendng the duration of the movie drawing in my notebook.
Teacher seemed to love it though was trying to make us watch it 3 or 4 times in a year, last time was close to summer vacation.

I might get this just for nostalgic reasons👈

Today I have mixed feelings: I still believe that the design of that full slip is not suitable for the film, that it could be someone the design for other very different movies; but, at the same time, I have to be honest and admit that in that video it looks really beaufitul.

 

It's almost a philosophical, metaphysical question. Should we buy editions that -subjectively, or course- we don't consider suitable for a film but we find individually beautiful?

 

It would not be the first time that I unexpectedly bought an edition because it was beautiful. But, at the same time, it seems to me so little Gattaca ....

Option 1: You buy it

• One week after it ships, three other premium retailers announce editions, two of which you like much better than this one.

Option 2: You don't buy it

• There is never another steel or premium edition for the movie, and the price of this edition skyrockets, making it impossible to obtain.

Your choice!

 

Personally, I like this one a lot. Understated, elegant treatment for a sci-fi minor classic.

Or it also may be that I try to manage my budget more wisely....  I want to belive it.

If this helps, I had the same feelings, maybe the artwork doesn't exactly fit with the film...but it still wonderful, amazing I would say. 

 

At the end of the day I thought the steelbook alone was not good enough for such an amazing film, I needed a bit more...so I pulled the trigger.

@gdenariusSorry about the mixup , i grabbed the wrong one.  IF you want a shaun of the dead version , i did just get an extra in and could sell it to you then you already have the tube for it and i send you the Gattaca with it OR i can send you a return label to send it back and send you the Gattaca one out on Monday , however you would like it to be done.

Does it fit well ? SCF11 are for Filmarena XL, right ? EverythingBlu Blu Picks are slightly narrower.

It's a little bit tight for Blupack with plastic wrap, I changed recently to SCF17.

And I use SCF8 for Blupick, thiner than Blupack
