Would love a GOOD version of the first film. The Blufans steel was a major let down and the zavvi exclusive original was terrible matte. The HMV original was kinda boring. Would love to see a full gloss with good art. WS had some nice steels though

I really wish they would have stayed out of disney and MCU.  I wouldnt mind a set of say all iron mans or all Cap america but I am scared to think they are going to do Maniac boxes for every movie or something like that.  Ruins all good will they ever had

Wouldn't sell my blufans, I like the Lenti on it, but steel is a bit naff. After all their promises of full gloss, it was such a let down to have it matte

Hopefully the slips have different artwork than the ones already used but somehow I doubt it. If they use a wea for the steel could be interesting?

Hope so, but so far FAC have just used art thats already being used whether it be poster art or steel package art. Its likely it will be art we've already seen but maybe a slip rather than actual steel

Since I love the Marvel Movies and FAC I like to have an FAC Edition of these. But I have to admit I already have som many versions of these films.

The working relationship with Disney seems to go well for FA, maybe Warner should realize that too, and finally give the OK for Suicide Squad & BvS, otherwise Disney will soon rule the Premium Steelbook market completely. Also not announcement for Wonder Woman maybe FA already deceided to concentrate on Disney and no longer care about Warner.

Id say in terms of volume, Marvel leads with so many editions. For me in terms of quality though it's been HDzeta and Manta that so far win. The HDzeta BvS beats any current Marvel release.

Strange thing is that the market is becoming so saturated with Marvel editions that even people like Kimchi and Nova aren't selling out straight away. Not the smartest move by FAC if they think this will sell out straight away. If the art is too similar to whats already out there many will skip it

i really see this as being the their biggest hurdle.  Disney always has been stingy on the art choices.  If FA could get new art for the covers that is different than anything out there for the covers they have a shot but if it's just recycled art they really don't have a prayer.  They can do the WWA steel, I assume it is already and really dont have an issue with that but the lenti needs something fresh and also the slipcover.  Otherwise there isnt a point in the release even.

It won't be too long when people start looking at their collections and say : enuff with this Marvel sh*t ! I'll be one of them.

There is already a bit backlash to FA and their release calendar and prices. And they used to be The Hip Thing.

@nefilim @howarmat I do agree on both points raised. I'm on the fence with FA, they have released many titles that didn't really need a premuim edition, but when they get it right like with John Wick they can make stunning edtions well worth the money. They started well with only small numbers and selective titles, but I think the praise got the better of them. Very soon we had 20 odd titles announced with many never seeing the light of day, and the ever increasing costs which sometimes placed certain edition above the not worth the price mark has seen a backlash against them.

I'm on the fence with that backlash. We have to take into account that they are a Czech company and films we deem worthy might not have been popular there and vice versa films that bombed there might have been received well in the rest of Europe and the US, so they do have to please the Czechs first and foremost. I can also undertand the loyalty reward angle that they get hammered for on most sites. The Czech Republic isn't a majorly wealthy country and has a great deal of poor, and a smaller population than many. For a company that is selling what is basically a luxuary item and survive is a major achievement in a country like that, so I totally get that they want to have a loyal fan base who buys every one and rewards them for doing so.

All that said, I think its the wrong move for them to now move into Marvel Studio titles, as theres already many good versions, all with similar art. Even if they manage WEA art on the steel, they will struggle to sell all of them. A bit too late in the game for them to come in now. They should stick to editions others aren't doing like that have before

... would like to see more titles like Child 44, Birdman and Ex_Machina instead of The Never Ending Flood Of Marvel Premiums.
