I can appreciate your trepidation wrt the Steel's art.

I think the small, almost obscure bullet hole in the tie adds a distinct bit of flavour to it but it is indeed rather mundane otherwise.

I always feel a touch of sympathy for the releasing agents, as getting art approval from studios is so very difficult many times. 🙁

I think the accompanying slip and assorted 'naff could make up for it, I guess we'll see. 🙂

I would love to know what is all the moving pieces when it comes to art approval. Is it just the higher ups at studios being control freaks, Directors & Producers who are very particular about how the movie is represented with certain art or a combination depending on contracts?

 

I see so much interesting art for so many different movies & what is often used for poster art is rather generic. I don’t know if that’s because generic art sales better on movie covers or because the creators really just like what is picked.
