Last film or films for me was a  binge watch of the Hobbit Trilogy. 4.5 out 5. Well made, entertaining, stunning cast and a good lead into the LOTR films. Only thing I didn't like was the digital orcs, I prefered the LOTR with men in suits and makeup, they looked far better than the slightly not quite real new versions

Weird. I cannot wait to see it again. Loved it.

Kong Skull Island 4,5/5. Because Kong was alive in the end. ? And the 3D-picture was excellent.

Alien: Covenant: 0/5. Simply a great disappointment like remake of all the Alien movies.

If you aren't alien fanatic or (alien) collector I would see it first. I will buy manta and fac to keep my collection whole but man I disliked the film. I actually cancelled Nordic 4K steelbook. Not sure if Manta and/or FAC has 4K but don't care. lol.

The Circle: 6/10 -- felt more like an overly drawn out episode of Black Mirror, but any episode of Black Mirror is better than this movie to be honest

Phoenix Forgotten: 0/10 -- AWFUL. Watched it since I'm a big horror fan and it's based in my state so I was interested. It was awful and no part of it was good.

Monster: 10/10 -- Truly haunting and incredible. Amazing job by Charlize Theron. She's truly a wonderful and gifted actress with so much depth and talent.

I actually just watched Get Out. Don't see first-run too often of late. I really enjoyed it, but I'm gonna give it a 9/10.

I'm holding back a little just because I couldn't help but feel it was a little derivative and predictable. That's not to say it wasn't well executed, just that because I've seen enough similiar films I had a pretty good idea where it was going. The most surprising and laudable thing is how polished of a genre piece it was by Jordan Peele.

No ,never heard of it , good is it ,....I'll have to seek it out ..... I always thought  ,Heat had the longest shoot out .......
