Hello from California 😄

Hey everyone. Happy to be here and thank you for the warm welcome. 

Tl;dr - I like dogs 🐶 

 

a little about me, I am 38 from Northern California. I am new to Steelbooks, but not new to collecting things. This all started when I got my first lg oled tv a few weeks ago. I immediately purchased a Panasonic UB820 4K player (first 4K tv) to go with the new tv. Before this I just streamed all my media. I have had a great center stage (right, left and center channel speakers) for audio and an anthem mrx1120 receiver to power it tie it all in. My goal is to have a home theater, theater In my home with full Atmos. 
 

With seeing the quality that only physical media can do for picture and sound I set off to buy my favorite movies and then I stumbled upon Steelbooks and all the awesome editions that get released. So I did my research and started looking at all these release groups and what one click, slip and lenti meant. 
 

I found my way here and spent my time navigating the site and familiarizing myself with things. So now I am on a journey to own all the things. And when I said I am not new to collecting, I meant, I spend my money more than I should when I have a new hobby, but it makes me happy haha so all good. 
 

Anyways I have a 90lb pit bull that thinks he’s a lap dog (my fault or his 🤔 - lets go with his),

 

I am a big movie buff and can appreciate unique and awesome pieces like maniac boxes.

Wow! You went 1st class on your TV 📺 & 4K player 📀, nicely done my friend❣️

 

Yeah, I hear you, I’m a collector too that started w/Best Buy/Target exclusives that really got me into the Premium editions (I started way back though  & gradually upgraded from VHS to DVD to BD to 4K oh my 🤣). then I was fortunate to find out about this terrific forum MP from another forum I followed & MP took over my #1 place since March ‘19 hey 👋 

 

 

I’m who is referred to as the “consigliere” on MP and the Ol’ American guy 😆 (Ol’ Veum is me) because I do enjoy communicating with all the peeps!😊
